Desktop Dungeons provides great bite sized puzzles in dungeon form.
The daily keeps me coming back and I quite enjoy the stiff competition on the leaderboards :)
The campaign starts off easy but there are many tough challenges as you progress.

This new iteration isn't perfect, but it's still a well made remaster.
The core is still the same great formula and well worth the asking price.

Hands down my favourite gaming experience this year.
Do yourself a favour and go in blind.

Just beat the last boss for the first time in a daily run, such a rush.

I didn't like the game at first, thought it was unfairly difficult.
Turns out that's the point, a first loop through all the bosses will take you ~30 minutes, if you survive (18 hours for my first victory).

first few bosses rotate, while the last four are set in stone every run.
I highly suggest trying the daily runs while progressing in normal play as it forces play styles and weapons you'd usually avoid.

Very fun game imo, "one more run" syndrome kicks in when you get hooked.
However, it's a bit demoralizing before that point.
If you're wary, it's well worth it if you catch it on a sale.
