Good old fashioned platforming. Reminds me of N game and other great flash games of the early 2000's. It brings me back to a time before growing up and having children ruined my life.

This game started out strong. Very strong. Then by level 5 I was just speed running and didn't a ♥♥♥♥ about all of the extra secrets and collectables which were a cheap way of ensuring that they got you playing for more hours. Endless hordes of the same 6 boring enemies, with only ONE weapon that is actually effective (super shotgun). In summary, the game has really good mechanics that are reminiscent of the classic DOOM games. But the game falls short in terms of longevity. It gets very boring and by the end of it you just want to get the bloody thing over with.

I got this game for free with a purchase of an AMD Radeon HD 7850 in the year 2013. I can see why it came free with the video card. This is a game that simply looks good, and lacks everything else. Storyline is disappointing and poorly executed. Gameplay starts way too slow, environments feel limited and poorly designed, and an entire game worth of story is crammed into the last half hour cutscene that just seems not to end. Not to mention shooting and combat mechanics that aren't even fun. I would never pay a dime for this game and I'm glad I didn't. It's a symbol of games in the 2010's that existed simply as demo's to how beautifully graphics can be made, and not for what games are: interactive stories that completely immerse the player. Not to mention the game was literally nauseating (had to turn FOV to max), as well as bloom that was WAY overdone and blinding most of the time.

EDIT : Experienced two game-breaking bugs. First off I completely lost my savegame and had to download some guy's online in order to get back to where I left off. Also, there's a glitch I experienced in the first level where you fill a roomba-style vaccum cleaning bag with red beads. The hitbox didn't line up for either of my controllers or keyboard. Eventually restarting enough fixed it I guess?

Pure non-stop, fast-paced action game. Very entertaining... been playing it since WON and will continue to play it.
