Windrose is like imagining Conan, ATLAS, Skull & Bones, and Enshrouded having a baby pirate game.

The combat and stamina system feels like it's a punishment, frustrates the F out of you, forcing you to Alt-F4 to go out and touch some grass. In this state, combat is the weakest part of this game.
Game runs smoothly, with minor stuttering when getting in/out of containers.

Do you want to cross to the next island in a dinghy? Nope, you gotta wait 10 minutes until a hauler with escort ships passes.

Where are the POTATOES? I've visited 3 or 4 islands and NO POTATOES!!!

This game made me forget about War Thunder (~5800 hours).

Worth every single penny!

The game has a lot of potential, but much of the dev team's good work is undermined by shortsighted decisions.

Forget about playing PvP for now. How can a development team in the 2020s create a PvP-focused game without implementing basic anti-cheat mechanics, cheat detection, or server-side unit stat validation? Just look up some YouTube videos to see what cheaters are capable of.

Multiplayer PvE is practically unplayable. In around 70% of matches, 10–20 minutes into the battle, all rocket-based units (e.g., Javelin, Patriot, Apache) simply stop working, either for me or the entire lobby. They just refuse to fire at all.

In about 50% of matches, the match progress freezes 20–30 minutes in. My units appear to be moving and firing on the battlefield, but they deal no damage.

The game also lacks essential content and features like game modes, scenarios, and even the ability to save your progress in the campaign.

Shout-out to the devs for the refund policy

I played mostly "rEaLiSm" single-player and some coop.
The AI design is utter trash - it takes away any pleasure and enjoyment from this game.
"Tier One" AI teammate operators behave like incompetent morons and they love running in front of your gun when you shoot full auto
The enemy AI is godtier, almost instant reaction after getting spotted - even the pajama-guys have more skills than "tier one" operators...
You literally have to do everything by yourself
You can pick the best vest and helmet and you still end up getting two-tapped by a pajama-dude with a makarov
