I am a big fan of Greg and have done everything from play real paintball with him at his events to play his old games and watch him wreck in his early days of XSV. With that being said its time for a brutally honest review. The game is subpar for pc(Mouse/keyboard). There is no depth here, it is merely a port of the IOS/Android version. There is no real multiplayer. The events consist of you competing for top score as you play against bots who lock any real challenge. There are ton of microtransactions however you really dont need em if you dont want em. It is possible to unlock everything in a short period of time by just grinding. Once you pick up in levels there is no need to spend real currency on paint because you will be able to afford so much of it. It took me about a day and a half of play to unlock everything. I really wish this was on par with his previous MAXD series. The game however does shine in VR. Its fun without being overly physical unless you want it to be then have at it. Kneeling and jumping and ducking and snapping out of bunkers are fun as hell and will get a baby sweat going. VR wise this game is worth the 10 bucks and you will get about 10 bucks worth of fun out of it for a while. Pretty fun to show off to friends. However if you lack the VR system then you might find yourself in front of a lackluster game with no depth. Then again its only 10 bucks so do you homie.. I recieved it for free and beta tested till the end. I do not recomend without a VR set. Thank you.
