That's definitely not happening, and most likely never will.

The beginning of the game and going through the campaign is pure pain and self-torture, God forbid you even think about playing any non-meta build. In that case, I would recommend banging your head against the wall - it will hurt less and make more sense.

For me, the most enjoyable part of ARPGs is the slow and steady progress you make throughout the entire game. I love improving my character, finding ways to strengthen it even in suboptimal situations, but in PoE2, this is not possible. If you want to go through the painful journey called the campaign with at least a shred of sanity, don't even try.

As one of my colleagues below already wrote - struggling up a sheer wall, in the hopes of finding a semi-functional build on the other side, isn't fun. This isn't just a balance/numbers issue. The entire skill system funnels you down specific paths, with restrictions like gem acquisition further exacerbating the issue.

Despite the fact that I have been playing games of this genre since early childhood, and have played thousands of hours of PoE 1, playing PoE 2 is torture, painful, and above all, a complete waste of time for me.

Currently, PoE 2 has by far the worst leveling experience (yeah, worse than D4BAD LOL) I've ever experienced in any game of the genre. It punishes experimentation, wastes your time with overly large zones, and just isn't fun to play for the first few hours of an untested build. It doesn't matter how (potentially) good/fun the endgame is, if you never get there because you quit out of frustration during the Campaign.

I hope the situation improves and PoE2 will one day be at least an average game, which cannot be said at present, and you will have more fun with Diablo Immortal. dO yOu GuYs NoT hAvE pHoNeS?
