Far Cry with Stalker overcoat and terrible optimization, just save yourself money and go play Gamma/Anomaly. Game has way too many design issues that no patch can fix.

Just to add: game is incredibly front loaded, first couple of hours i felt like it was ok. after you leave lesser zone and garbage, the amount of side quests drops significantly and it becomes just walking simulator through unnecessarily huge map. No clue if A-life is there or not, but i dont think i would make any difference, due to map size i rarely met anything. Exploring feels pointless, you rarely find anything interesting and if you do find items, its just food and healing, which you cant really even carry due to stupidly low carry weight. After that its just 2km to next story quest again, while you have to chug energy drink or water every 150m to continue running while you are overcumbered.

Good game until you start the expeditions.
Game tends to be buggy sometimes, so if you encounter a bug that just forces you to "abandon trip" during an expedition run, you will lose everything. Later expeditions are even worse at this and once you lose all the items you have gotten, you basically have to start from the beginning. The whole main campaing, you are collecting materials for upgrades but expeditions don´t allow you to use these due to part restrictions.
How the maps are created is a mess as well, at least sometimes. Having only one main road over a bridge and into a tunnel which is impossible to go through due to celling spawning wrong and blocking the way basically ruins a run.

My main problem are the expeditions, its supposed to be late game challange, but the challanging part is that you can use very little of the upgraded parts/tools that you have most likely occumulated during the game. Later expedition runs rely on the rewards that you have received from the previous ones (unrestricted parts) due to high restrictions, but once you lose them you basically have to repeat at least half of the previous ones to get some usable parts again, every expedition takes at least a hour if you are actually playing the game and not just grinding for items. Basically, punishment for abandoning run is too severe and takes hours of progress away. I understand that there needs to be some punishment, but losing everything isn´t a good option. Losing every item in the trunk would seem better, because there isn´t really a reason to abandon run aside from game bugging out. Game autosaves all the time and you can just turn the game off mid run and then continue where you left. Challenges in expedition are done wrong, they go against what the gameplay and story of the main campaing is about.

As for the main campaing - it´s ok, i liked the outer and the mid zone the best due to the enviroments.
Story was fine, ending seemed strange and not really well thought out, but its not that bad. Its a good game, just save yourself the time and don´t play the expeditions. Great game to just relax in the evening. Athmosphere and music choises are fantastic.
