Combat is clunky and weapon degradation is annoying, even though there are ways to mitigate it, but... man, what a wild ride. Atmosphere is top notch, visuals are gorgeous; really enjoyed this one.

Edit: Went back in for all endings, NG+ lets you skip a decent amount to speed things up. Great game.

Excellent. Final boss is a low point, but overall on par with RE2, SH2, and Dead Space remakes.

Tentative Recommendation. Game is good, but not great.

Art and sound are fantastic, story is interesting, but controlling the main character is imprecise at best, combat is repetitive and shallow, the game is constantly wrestling away camera control, and by the end I wished the main character would just stop talking/commenting outside of cutscenes.

Probably best to get on sale or through Gamepass.
