Overall it's a great game with well done writing and story telling, a few gotchas, and even some heartwarming moments. Sometimes feels a little heavy handed with the message.

There is a certain part of the game where it seems the difficulty curve spikes dramatically compared to the rest of the game ( Old Ocean Castle ), but not unbearably so.

There are a few bugs that keep this game from being a 5/5 for me at the time of writing (a lot of spots with bad collision, and there was a particularly annoying bug with the final boss where the perfect whorl gets stuck underground if you defeat him while he is staggered ), but overall definitely worth playing.
