1 cup (200g) unsalted butter
1 cup (200g) sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (60g) cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix the butter and sugar until creamy.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix well.
In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let cool before slicing and serving.
