Early Access Review
I really like this game. Some other games I enjoy is the Anno series, Factorio, Cities Skylines. This is one of those games where you will have hundreds of hours in one session. Since Beta 8, the co-op is very stable for me, so I can build factories with my wife, which i greatly enjoy.
When coming from Factorio, it is a bit hard to get used to the third dimension. Also things take a lot longer in comparison, which is mostly caused by the camera and the build animiations. Production chains can have hundreds of buildings that need to placed one by one, then you need belts, mergers, splitters etc.
But on the other hand you can build impressively nice-looking things.
The community is very active, development from Coffee Stain Studios is also active. And while there are a lot of streams and videos from the devs, they could be more transparent about what they're developing and what is coming next. There are lots of "surpise!" moments when releasing new stuff. They said they want to add a story with the Release 1.0, but for now you have the milestones and research to work towards to which gives you a goal in this sandbox environment.

The Factory must grow.
But seriously, no game can hold my attention for hours on end like this one. Anno 2070 may come close. The gameloop is pretty much perfect if you like to use your brain from time to time.
There is no game developer I know of who supports their game more than Wube. Hotfixes are sometimes pushed mere minutes after a bug has been reported.
And there are so many awesome mods to extend the life of this game indefinitely.
Definitely the best cost per hour of entertainment product I own.

//Edit: Playing Space Age DLC now for more than 100 hours, the Factory must grow... in Space!
