Sadly, I have to leave a negative review. I was waiting the next installment after World so much.

At this point, it's worth more to buy World and play it.

Wilds gives you too much pampering, the combat and monsters feel shallow because of 5 minutes run and not being as difficult as World. The game went from planning and learning the patterns to hack'n'slash and defeat the monster.

A lot of small stuff that made Monster Hunter what it is have been way simplified to the point it is boring. I'm still salty about the Canteen missing (added in the Gathering Hub but still no cats cooking), the food being toned down and honestly it doesn't look as tasty as before.

The grind is non-existent because you easily get everything and, what's even more sad, you don't even need the upgrades, you can easily reach high rank endgame with lower rank armor if you're a veteran player and want some artificial difficulty.
Also, I'm not fan of the map being built around mounts as you no longer need to explore and learn the map, it's just there to traverse it, it would have been better to remain on foot and bring mounts later on (just like in World).

Aside from gameplay issues (which are more than what I wrote), the optimisation is bad. World wasn't best but it runs better than this one with not much difference in visual aspect (from my point of view, at least).

I had my game linked to my PSN just because I have one and it was already linked to Steam. Even so, I am against this decision from Sony and how it affects other users.

EDIT: I can recommend the game again after Sony went back on their PSN change.

EDIT 2: Looks like Sony tricked us and didn't make PSN account mandatory but still removed the countries that can't make PSN account. Like, huh?

EDIT 3: Good game but still **** Sony

Great game, quite a lot to do and to farm.

A lot was lost with content vaulting, which is a shame. Content that was bought just disappeared, including part of story.

Hard for a new player to start the game unless he's got friends who already know the game to explain it to him.

Waiting for Iceborne. Will dump more hours on this.

The mixed emotions I have playing this game, the story behind the actions, I simply do not know how to express myself. This truly is an unique way to tell a story.

Kill everything while killing everything. There's nothing better than guns over guns over explosions!

Was promised singleplayer DLC content, it never came. Loading time for Online is huge, sometimes it's not even joining. In order to buy things, you either have no life and only play GTA V or you give them more money to buy Shark Cards. The singleplayer story was ok-ish, but not as good as the other GTAs. You can't play singleplayer without internet connection (this makes no sense). In Online, after you play like every mission available, and then you start do some other things, it gets repetitive and boring after a while, nothing to do. Also, you can no longer mod the singleplayer game because they want more money from Online. After Rockstar has been very supportive of the modding community, Take Two is screwing with everyone.
