Space Marine 2 takes everything that made the original a blast and cranks it up to 11! From the first moment, you're thrown into epic, fast-paced combat as a genetically enhanced Space Marine, smashing through hordes of Orks and other alien threats with brutal melee and ranged combat. The game’s stunning visuals and visceral action make you feel like a true Warhammer hero, with every battle feeling both intense and satisfying.

The combat system is a highlight—smooth, fluid, and downright satisfying. The gunplay is tight, and the chainsaw blade never gets old. Melee combat is brutal, allowing you to hack and slash your way through enemies, while the range of weaponry available gives you multiple ways to approach each situation. There’s a real sense of power in every swing and shot.

The visuals are a treat too—Space Marine 2 has upgraded its graphics to give you a more immersive, detailed world, from the ruined landscapes to the incredible character models. The atmosphere is dark, gritty, and full of the grimdark charm Warhammer fans love.

That said, the story and characters feel a bit generic, with the narrative largely focused on combat and missions rather than a deeper exploration of the universe. But, for fans of high-octane action, this isn't a major drawback.

Multiplayer modes are a blast, providing competitive and cooperative play that adds plenty of replay value. Whether teaming up with friends in co-op or going head-to-head in PvP, there's a lot of fun to be had.

Overall, Space Marine 2 is a worthy sequel that delivers on all the things Warhammer fans love—action, destruction, and epic moments. While it may not revolutionize the genre, it’s definitely a must-play for anyone who enjoys brutal, over-the-top combat.

God of War in 2018 isn't just a great game, it's a masterful reinvention of a beloved franchise. The game takes Kratos, the rage-fueled Spartan warrior we know from the Greek sagas, and places him in the realm of Norse mythology. This isn't just a change of scenery though, it's a character study. Kratos is older, haunted by his past, and now a father to a young son named Atreus.

The core gameplay is fantastic. Gone are the wide-scale battles of the previous games, replaced by a more focused, strategic combat system. Kratos' new weapon, the Leviathan Axe, feels brutal and satisfying to wield, and the close-up camera puts you right in the heart of the action. But the true star of the show is the relationship between Kratos and Atreus. Their journey together is full of emotional moments, both heartwarming and heartbreaking. The voice acting is superb, bringing both characters to life.

The world of Norse mythology is stunningly realized. From the towering mountains to the creepy forests, every area feels alive and dangerous. The game's single-shot camera adds to the immersion, making you feel like you're truly on this journey with Kratos and Atreus.

Whether you're a longtime fan of God of War or a newcomer to the series, God of War (2018) is a must-play. It's an epic adventure with an emotional core that will stay with you long after the credits roll.

Highlights:

Rich and emotional story focused on the bond between Kratos and Atreus
Brutal and satisfying combat with the Leviathan Axe
Stunning world inspired by Norse mythology
Immersive single-shot camera
If you're looking for an unforgettable gaming experience, look no further than God of War (2018).

The original Dying Light had a decent storyline but the combat felt a bit wobbly. Techland seems to have worked on it over the past few years to make combat and parkour look and feel much superior. Slinging weapons at the infected or human enemies does not feel jarring anymore. Couple that with some of the combat skills and you'll be having District 13 level action.

Human enemies do not seem to be that smart when compared to zombies. In a battle of 1v3, humans prefer to attack individually rather than in a group which makes your job easier. This makes it look like a Bollywood action scene.

Zombies, on the other hand, are always alert and aware of their surroundings and attack at will — there's a chance that they might catch you off-guard as well. There are around 10 different types of zombies, all lethal. Starting with Biters, who are the most common form of the undead, to Bolters, who possess rare loot. Spitters, as the name suggests, spit gooey acid at you. The Volatile are the Alpha zombies — the only way to “defeat” them is by running away.

The Dying Light 2 storyline is fairly average. The game introduces choice-based dialogues that add a little more flair to the story but unfortunately, not enough. Aiden is made to run back and forth in the city doing the dirty work for the factions, who do not seem to give away information even after gaining trust. Seems like a way to stretch the game out. Thankfully, the characters in Dying Light 2 Stay Human are quite good and you get to meet a ton of them during quests. Some characters stay for a while, and some are just there for a single section of the story.

Pros:

Parkour and combat amalgamation feels satisfactory
Skill tree keeps the game engaging
Weapon modifications and choices are decent
Music gives the game an immersive experience
Cons:

Story feels jarring and stretched
Battle against human-AI feels like a drag
Cut scenes are sometimes long and unnecessary
Rating (out of 10): 8

Early Access Review
This game is absolutely amazing, as expected from the game designer of Payday and Payday 2. I'll be going over the pros and cons (in my opinion) of this game, starting with the cons.

Cons:

- Some clipping issues and path finding issues for the AI, resulting in spots the players can get into to abuse the AI of the game.

That is pretty much the only con of this game. Some spots in the maps have places where you can climb due to the clipping of the props and objects. However, this can also be a Pro in most cases. It makes the game feel more immersive and more mobile than it is. Personally I do like the immersive part of it, however I do think abusing the AI is not a good part of the game. Obviously this game being in early access will have bugs, this being one of them and the developers will likely fix issues like this in the future.

Pros:

- Environment is REALLY well done
- A horror, co-op game that is made to challenge even the better gamers out there, requiring the use of teamwork to really be able to advance through the levels
- Literally everything else

I say literally everything else because this game has so many amazing features (including monsters) that I feel that the player(s) have to experience themselves to get the full effect of how amazing this game is.

Sure this game is hard, but that's what keeps bringing people back to it.

As of right now, Rundown 2 is released and I have beaten all the levels from A1 to D2 once and A1 to B4 at least four times. E1 is still a challenge that I hope to complete one day.

I hope this game continues to receive updates and support from the developers that are making this, as I can see this game being a revolutionary game for gamers to conquer.

Bit disappointed.
The two colonels start with a lengthy stretch of my second least favourite part from the main game. Walking through slimy trigger corridors. I'll probably try again later.
The base idea with the two colonels is cool though.

Sam's story than does my number one least favourite.... Gasmask filter spam. Luckily only towards the end.

Otherwise Sam's story looks at first like a new (kinda) open area like in the main game. Which would be great! Has some great backgrounds and at least a few unique locations.

Sadly it turns out it is pretty linear and scripted. Often you can't (for no reason) get back to earlier parts. Forced with an absolutely frustrating mess of invisible walls, They are everywhere. And not just blocking areas to steer you through the story.
There are cars or platforms or whatever... Gaps you can't jump over... you just bounce back of thin air..
The Area looks nice but is well below the standrds set by the main game.

But it's of course not all bad. .Good things as well. While the "World" is a disappointment, storywise it's ok. And the simple fact that your protagonist takes part in the story by actually talking, is such a massive improvement over the weird storytelling with a silent and awkward Artyom.

BEST GAME TO PLAY Siege is by far my favorite shooter. It's not even close. This is an incredibly difficult game for an FPS, but the payoff is well worth it. At about 100-150 hours of play I felt like I generally understood all the maps, the tactics and meta for each, and the play mechanics; at about that point it starts to become an FPS that makes all others obsolete. I completely understand that the grind time is a huge barrier to entry
