This game rocks my socks off!!!!

After playing through all five chapters of this game, I can say that I enjoyed my time with it. I've played all the Borderlands games through, and they are all some of my favorite games of all time. Don't get me wrong, they have their flaws, but I find them to be great games nontheless. This game takes the great Borderlands universe and Telltale have made a great story around it.

However, notice how I said STORY. Singular.

Because after playing it again for a second time and choosing different options, it's very apparent that most of the choices you make don't matter. A majority of the choices make no difference on the overall story, as they just make minor changes in how the characters like each other. The story will still generally go on the same track, and the "bad ending" seeming tacked on just to check the box of a "bad ending."

That's my main gripe with it, but there are a lot of great things they did with the game. Like I said, even if the story doesn't change a whole lot, it still is a great story that takes full advantage of the Borderlands lore, which is far more complex and interesting than the original games give them credit for. The main characters are likeable and well developed, and the plot also makes sense in a borderlands-type way. It also has some fun cameo characters that don't outstay their welcome and actually fit into the plot. (Claptrap only appears for one scene!)

Overall I reccomend this game for people who love the borderlands games, but you still might like it even if you don't play the other games.
