I have around 900 hours in this game, maybe 250 while in stash/afk. I have been playing this game for the last 3 years.
This game, it took over as my primary game, and at first I believed it to be a choice that I was consciously making. There is so much going right for this game. This game allows you to feel so immersed that it may evoke emotions you may never have thought possible in a video game. The only complaint I can have that should cover most peoples complaints, cheaters excluded, is that the game. Well let me put it to you like this. Your building a house, and you have all the parts you need to build the house. Half way into building. you lose the plans, and just try to wing it the rest of the. The analogy sucks, but this game has all the pieces it needs to be a great game they just need to polish it, and make it feel right. Stop adding content, and focus on audio issues, rubber-banding, and basic polish. I think they needed to get 1.0 out of the way because this game has been in beta for so long, that they actually get to focus a majority of their resouces on optimizing the game. After a big cash injection froma a game launch. I hope they can finially optimize the little issues, this game is hard enough without the bugs.
Sorry for the rant.

As far as early access games go. These devs seem to actually care about what the player's actually want out of the game, and implement appropriate fixes to accommodate. I'm fairly optimistic with the direction this game is going. I will try to update this as my opinion changes.

I've been playing this stupid game since I was 11 I'm 29 now so. Yeah I would recommend but be warned.

High learning curve, but once you get basic building and physics down this game is very easy. Very rewarding to win as well.

Cool game like both source and global but must play both to make your own oppinion. However love the matchmaking in go love the map roltations of source but hey to each his/her own
