Want to enjoy this game, but there are some glaring bugs / issues needing to be addressed first.

Game crashing constantly. Crashes on cinematics, crashing during game play, crashes when I don't pray to the machine god before playing. I have modern hardware with a amd 5900x and a 3090 and still all the crashing. I even tried removing my overclocks and undervolting, didnt help.

no FOV adjustment. Your so zoomed in on the character Titus, you can smell what he had for lunch. On an ultra wide or wide screen, this view is terrible. Also, the devs created these awesome environments, I want to be able to see them.

Lastly, no wide screen support. I'm 3440 x 1440 and playing this game in a little square box in the middle of my screen sucks. its 2024, this shouldn't be happening.

Like I said, want to enjoy the game, but cant even do that. Wait for a patch or two before buying,

This game and the dev team are amazing. You won't regret buying it. Support an awesome dev team.

Update 12-7-22:
New patch fixed everything for me. Running on Max settings and smooth as butter. Honestly didn't think they could fix all the issues that fast. Praise given to good work.


Simply put, I ran the game at ultra settings, all ray tracing set to high, no up-scaling enabled.

Here are my system specs (CPU & GPU custom loop water cooled):
Ryzen 5900X (SIngle core OC @ 5.2 ghz 7 All core @ 4.8 Ghz)
EVGA 3090 FTW3 custom OC
64GB Ram @ 3800 mhz
pcie 4.0 NVME game HD

How was the game? Couldn't even walk out of the cockpit after the loading screen. The game stutters and lags so bad I'm at a loss for words. Of course, after I turned ray tracing off completely, and turned all texture settings down to medium, the game was roughly playable.... roughly.

Sometimes you get lucky with a nice gaming PC and you can brute force a game that has crappy coding or polish to play well on high graphics settings.

This game you can not. Either Striking Distance Studious will have to do a major patch and address how textures are loaded / handled in this game, or maybe NVIDIA can pull a rabbit out of a hat with a driver update that can help performance.

I'd seriously hold off on buying until you see comments like mine go away. Should of been a major warning sign to all PC players that reviewers got console keys for review and not a PC key,....
