If you like Bayonetta and feeling miserable then this is pretty good.

If you just bought this version I have bad news for you.

a really great game held back by an absurdly stupid hide and seek combat mechanic. would be perfect without it

Performance is questionable, at least on my end. Somehow being in the graphics settings while in-game will lower the frame rate, which will then kick you off back to the main menu because of a framerate problem. Never seen anything like that before, but whatever. My fault for having AMD I guess

for 15 bucks it was okay, i guess. hopefully the sequel is better

I played for about ten minutes and could not enjoy the movement. I tried all three "classes", and all their rolls in this game feel like slow motion fat rolls in Dark Souls. Same goes for attacks. Everything is WAY WAY too slow. Yes, compared to Dark Souls this game is super slow paced and boring. I couldn't handle it, maybe you can.

Could have made it so you use your offshore cash to open safes, but no.

Buy the game, buy the DLC to play with everyone else, now buy the drills to unlock the safes to make your player slot worth a damn. ♥♥♥♥ this game.

Survivor's Journal, Day 11 - Morning

I've decided I'll start to explore these caves the cannibals have been bringing me to. I think I'm able to survive for a while in there. I've left a marker at the entrance when I first escaped. Heading there now.

I've reached the entrance safely with only minimal trouble. I've decided to build a fire here to light my path; this lighter isn't cutting it in here. The cave seems to be mostly empty so far, but there are signs of cannibals living in here. Will head in deeper

Survivor's Journal, Day 11 - Late Afternoon

I found a pond in one of the caves, and it's marked with a skull hanging from the ceiling. What does this mean? Could this be a secret path? I do have an air mask and some tanks, I will go built a fire at the edge of the pond for warmth and light and will swim to the bottom

Survivor's Journal, Day 11 - Night

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. I swam all the way to the bottom and all that I found was a skull. My light on my air mask wasn't doing well so I decided to feel around the walls. I fell through a wall. I don't know where I am now. It appears to be a secret, but a bad one. I live here now. No food left, no sticks for fire, one bottle of liquor, and one good run ruined by a glitch.

Let me take a moment to explain how problematic this game is.

This game engages in a male power fantasy that depicts that only males can shower with their dads, when in reality there are many girls that also take showers with their dads. This game takes those women and disregards them in order to form a narrative that the shower is a "boys club" while women are subject to taking baths instead. As a noted feminist, I say women should rise from the tub and stand together from the showers of oppression the patriarchy have been subjecting us to, and scrub clean all gender roles.
