8/10 fantastic tight experience 80% of the game but unfortunately the final act is really unpolished and buggy. Its biggest achievement is looking like a very goofy game with a very goofy premise and telling a fairly compelling story.

An amalgam of love letters to a wide variety of JRPGs backed up by the prose of a madman. Solid battle mechanics and challenge curve, though difficulty can be gimmicky at times. It's weakness lies in the character writing and dialog, which would have benefited from another couple of drafts. Overall a cozy game full of subsystems that leave you satisfied for putting in the time.

A game that singled handedly revitalized my interest in single player games, Yakuza 0 has so many things to get wrapped up in, from beating cheeks in the streets to gambling all my money away in a homeless park. Music, gameplay. story, looks, this one's got it all.

A very nice port of a game series that many people loved. Vol.4 has a few stylistic issues and is rather short, but is a nice conclusion from the bittersweet ending from the original trilogy.

Truly a game worth all of its insane praise. I constantly cracked smiles, held back tears, and felt like a monster. If you value what a story can do for your SOUL you should get this game.

I ride walls as a robot and play foosball. OVERRRCLLLLOCKED.
