Although the level design is undeniably very linear and hallway-heavy, you can still get a sweet dose of HL2 rip-roaring adrenaline mowing down four different era's worth of metrocops. I think the weapon arsenal was really fun to play with as well, if not a little bit on the powerful side. Rapid switching between them definitely makes it more interesting.
The plot is fantastical and silly but I enjoyed it quite a bit. Time travel is always a fun trope to play with and I think the way that more anachronisms pop up as you progress and the timelines start to crash into each other in the fourth chapter was done well.
Overall - This is a great mod clearly put together by a lot of passionate people. It can be a bit simplistic mapping/gameplay wise but it provided me with a good four hours worth of noir/sepia/neon drenched action. Definitely recommended for any Source enjoyers looking for a quick playthrough :)

Generally a really great mod. I played on hardmode to get the sort of 'canonical' experience and it was definitely pretty difficult in certain encounters. I was able to pretty easily figure out most of the puzzles but chapter four (Bad Cop) really dips in terms of puzzle readability. I don't like looking at walkthroughs but I got irritated and stuck a few times and needed to check to see what I was supposed to do. I also found some of the short bossfights and final boss to be moderately frustrating and requiring of manual saves to be tolerable. Other than these gripes, the combat is engaging, some neat gimmicks are introduced, the map design is really high quality and the story is an interesting twist on a Half Life 2 lore. Definitely going to be playing Entropy Zero 2 soon.

This is the first HL2 mod I've played and god is it incredible. Gorgeous environments, top tier modelling and immaculate aesthetics. Incredible work to all involved :)

I played this nonstop for three hours. I can't even begin to describe how good this was. Slices of life in eternal wait with lovable characters and the heart-wrenching stories that come with them. This was absolutely lovely to play through and has left me contemplating that of which no one will ever truly know for sure. Thank you.

While I really do enjoy the destructive chaos that you command in this game, the random nature of the physics-based gameplay makes it genuinely frustrating to complete certain tasks assigned to you because of how attempts can play out differently while still having the same setup.
