When I was a kid in Moree my parents for christmas would put up a like 10 metre tall metal frame christmas tree wrapped in lights at the front of the house that you could see from ages away because of how flat the town is. They would wrap boxes in wrapping paper with bricks in them to weigh them down and put them around the tree.
