Excluding the obvious optimization issues, the MTX can be easily modded into the game adding these items into the vendors' inventory.

The biggest issue I noticed as I played the game is that it simply is an unfinished and half baked product. The variety of enemies is laughable, and the story starts alright but after a bit it feels rushed without explaining anything or making sense. There are mechanics that feels like they never made it to the game, such as, stealth.

The exploration is generally worthless, rewarding you only generic materials and gold. All the interesting loot is sold to you by the vendors.

The game does not have any form of endgame and once you are done with the ending of your choice, you go into NG+. The NG+ allows you to keep everything but it does not scale the enemies higher, resulting on you basically 1 shoting everything (at least, you can also mod this).

The constant trash mobs while exploring could be fun if there was a higher variety of enemies, and it leaned more towards fewer encounters with boss enemies, rather more frequent encounters featuring small packs of goblins and wolves. Currently, it is more of an annoyance, making you run and skip everything on your way instead of fighting.

Nowhere near Witch Queen in terms of campaign. Enemies are just cabal with a few new toys and Neomuna (the destination) feels empty, uninteresting and uses a lot of recycled assets. The new Elite enemy, the Tormentor, is interesting and a pleasant addition but feels a lot less dangerous than lucent hives. Bungie also changed the difficulty of the game in general, making it harder, without adjusting the loot accordingly so it makes it more frustrating grinding for the same rewards. Additionally, while roaming Neomuna you are constantly underleveled and makes trivial activities take unnecessarily longer time to complete. The warlock strand, since that is the only one I have used so far, is mediocre. It is fun to roam around using it but it has no place in endgame content and is a downgraded stasis, if you choose to run it for crowd control. I experimented trying to create builds and use builds other people have posted online, but I couldn't actually make it work well enough for me to consider running it in higher difficulty activities. Although, it is possible that with the addition of aspects and fragments, it may start becoming more viable, similar to Warlock's stasis and Bleak Watcher.

TLDR; Not as bad as Shadowkeep and Beyond Light, but not as good as Witch Queen. Bungie made the game slower and more grindy and the new subclass is kind of a gimmick to fool around.

Used to be good, now it is minimum viable product with AAA price tags. Bugs on top of bugs and possibly the only game where I have seen the permanent vaulting of paid story content and activities. Game performance declining in every season. Microtransactions in eververse are being promoted, and bungie minimizes sources of bright dust, as well as, increasing the bright dust for cosmetics (300 for a shader, 1200 for a mask lol). They recently stated that the new dungeons in Witch Queen's Year will not be included in the season passes, and will be part of the game's deluxe edition, or sold separately as DLCs (dungeons used to be part of expansions/seasons).

Another minimum viable product by Bungie, I do not recommend spending more than 20 euros on it. The only reason most of the people I know bought it is for the exotics and the raid.

The season 7 new map is good, some good changes regarding the characters and the new character is useful and fun to play. Although, they did change the Battle Pass leveling system, making it around 4 times harder to level up. Before the season, you could just play the game and level up naturally, in addition to the levels awarded by completing challenges. This season, the experience needed to level the pass has been more than doubled. The challenges do not feel rewarding, with them being grindy and forcing you to use characters you do not have and weapons you do not want to use if you want any kind of progression towards the Battle Pass. You used to get 3 or 4 levels in 3 hours session by doing daily challenges and the experience, now you barely get 1 level in the same session. It certainly feels like this wasn't properly tested and it feels a situation where they chose to go "2 steps forward, 1 step backwards". They probably launched it in the worst possible state, expect people to complain, and then release a patch making it a little easier but still way harder and grindier than the previous ones, claiming that they fixed it. Also they again dropped in the patch notes the famous EA "But it feels more rewarding now". Don't bother buying the Battle Pass if Apex isn't your main game.
