This is my favorite rhythm game to date. I've played each entry in this series a decent bit and even played a bit on a Diva Arcade machine once, and honestly, my biggest complaint was always that it was too friggin' hard. I tried not to complain, but Mega Mix+'s major improvement in this regard is that I don't find the tracks *easier* per say, but the learning curve is a LOT more manageable. I have been told it "no longer makes [me] feel like [I'm] terrible at rhythm games" which might be a plus for you, too.
There are a few things you may miss from previous entries: the Diva Room is gone and so are some charming features in menus. However I think focusing on the rhythm game itself is probably the best for the series' current state and direction. I found myself struggling to care about the Diva Room as I got older and then I'd be sad that I hadn't paid attention to any of the 'loids.
Well, Miku and friends all look great, there's a vast selection of songs and if you're able to purchase the DLC you get a lot of fun modules and derivative character modules.
There is some frame-stuttering that can make you drop notes, but other players have made guides to cut down on how much that happens. It's happened to me a bit and does aggravate me, but it hasn't happened enough for me to do anything about it. All in all it's a great entry in the series with attention where it matters and a low to manageable amount of bugs.
