Early Access Review
Quality over Quantity, is the term to describe ARMA Reforger, as it overhauls the overall Arma experience to something beautiful. Despite lacking content you'd expect from a full Arma title, this surely is a much larger step than ever before in the series. Yes, there are bugs, obviously, it's in Early Access !

With beautiful I don't just mean the visuals, but things like incredible immersive explosions and combat, audio quality on a level we've not seen in any Arma before, and of course things like no action menu. Regarding the 'few' gamemodes available are large in scope, and replayability is key here.

If you're expecting a full on ARMA 4 title, don't buy. But you should also expect twice the price for the next full ARMA title, as it will be a game to be played for at least a decade to come.

Imagine Quality Over Quantity, but even better, and for the price of just a McDonald's meal. Also, awesome trailer! ;)

On release the game sure was buggy, but that's a long time ago and the ratings sure would be higher otherwise; because oh boy, the game is definitely underrated and is probably my FAVORITE RPG to date!

You may think the medieval setting is overdone, but with KCD it is the opposite, due to the dedication to realism over fantasy it is unique. Not only that but the fact that you start out as a nobody (being the chosen one is oversaturated). Because of this the game throws you into a wall of challenges, but when you get a grasp of things it sure is satisfying when you're mastering a swordfight or persuasion to avoid certain death. To put it simply, the game doesn't hold your hand, and therefore the threats feels genuine and makes the gameplay more exciting and captivating.

Oh did I forget to mention that the ambient life in this open world is probably the most immersive with every peasant having their own lives and careers, and the dynamic battles unfolding in one of the most beautiful forests to explore in any game. The music playing in the background is just incredible, and this is an understatement.

During the current sale with the Royal Edition (including all DLC's) at under 14€, I can only say that it is heavily underpriced and underrated. Go support their fantastic work!

Hours and hours of high quality, immersive gameplay for the price of a cheap meal?
What's there to complain about!

When I first heard that this new expansion was going to be in a jungle environment, I was expecting disappointment. Huge FPS drops, as well as AI shooting through the vegetation.

Well, that was not the case at all. Bohemia Interactive surprised me and most other players with HUGE improvements. I'm intrigued how I can sneak from behind a bush without being noticed. Not only that, I realized the AI supress fires like crazy in the jungle. The FPS may drop slightly in the woods, but not much.

Not to mention all the amazing new content.

After all these platform improvements, the immersion of war is like it should be.
I must say, this is the most positively surprising step for Arma!

This game gives me the chills when I do a comeback to my childhood games. I bought this game first for the original Xbox, and it was one of my favorite games, and still is. Nowadays this might not be a stunning Role-playing game compared to other RPG's, but at the time it truly was stunning. You always find ways to have fun in this game from huge tasks to tiny quests and games within the game. You can choose everything between good and evil, it's all up to you. For the prize of a role-playing game like this, definetly a fantastic RPG 9/10

ArmA III, the fourth game in the ArmA series, if we include the original Operation Flashpoint as well. Many mainstream 'FPS gamers' complain about ArmA's style, because it's unique? That's exactly why I love this game. You really have to find patience and a learning curve to this game. But once you have control over the game, you'll find tons of enjoyable content. You'll find yourself playing around with the editor, campaign with great storyline, 2 beautiful islands to explore, customizable gear, multiplayer fun as well as serious gameplay. What else do you want? Yeah it might have some bugs and lag. But, if you look back at ArmA 2, not many complained about it though ArmA 3 is highly improved from the previous title. ArmA is a huge game that you will be playing for years to come. You'll always find ways to emerge into ArmA's gameplay. It's ultimately up to you to be creative. Because of Bohemia Interactive's hard work on unique warfare gameplay, and immersive experience, I'd give it 9/10 :)
