The first two games were convoluted but at least you could try and take a guess as to who the Zero was.

This games story and flow is so all over the place that there were points where you get stuck without any kind of clear hint or idea where to go next.

The "twist" is also insulting to you as the player if you're trying to follow the story and piece it together before the reveal. Made me go from enjoying the game to not recommending it.

Game is a glitchy, buggy mess. The story's pacing is all over the place and often connects scenes without rhyme or reason on how we got there. Not to mention the prologue is 5/12 sequences, and is incredibly tedious. Controls don't respond quite as how you want them to, often times resulting in no action happening while in combat.

Overall, if you're catching up on the games like I am after being years behind, I would suggest you just watch a youtube compilation of the cutscenes for this one to save yourself the annoyance. Coming off of Revelations which I also did not enjoy as much as Brotherhood, this game is worse to play in every way. (Graphics are nice and facial animations are impressive though considering some modern games still struggle with that)

I should also say I had some issues that result in me needing to play through the Ubisoft Connect launcher rather than Steam.

Boring, asinine gameplay loop decision. The alpha was more fleshed out, if that's possible to believe. World is boring, huge and empty, every enemy can kill you easily even the sheep and when killed will drop the most mediocre amount of loot ever. Combat consists of kiting all the time. Region locking loot is idiotic.. why not just make better loot in new regions?

I waited 6 years for this? No thanks, don't buy.

I went into this wanting to get some things off my chest in a kind and accepting environment, and I got that and much more. I wish there would be a way to keep some of these amazing people as penpals, in order to support each other directly if we want to.

Thank you devs for creating such a wonderful experience!

Used to be a great MMO before the relaunch. Now it's just hot garbage.

I went into this game knowing only what I learned from watching a Drakkengard and NieR plot synopsis. I was baffled by what any of it meant but I went in with that.

I finished the game with a huge sense of accomplishment as I had found greatness told in one of the most unique formats I have ever played.

Goats.

The ultimate heist experience, made even more fun with 3 others! Singleplayer is all about speed runs, but multiplayer lets the game truly shine when all hell breaks lose, and you scurry around trying not to get caught. MUST BUY!
