The Outpost must grow.

A highly ambitious game with influences across the board. Mixing Tower Defense, Base Building, FPS, Rogue-Lite, and Co-op. 100% should be in early access though due to the fact that the game released with a large amount of crashes and bugs (day 1-3 overall steam review was 33%). With also the main story not being complete (Takes roughly 60ish hours to get to the end of the current story).

Currently Combat/Wave Defense/Base building feels great :). Story is not what you would go for.

The outlook does look quite hopeful though as the Dev's have been pushing out a large amount of patches which was great to see fixing most if not all of the opening issues. Slightly disappointing that it did not release with this stability though.

Solid rogue-lite game with Fire Emblem style combat/heroes in a horde survival mode.

Game should be named Bug World instead of New World
Stealth changes never documented on any official patch notes.
We are currently playing a paid beta.
I have enjoyed my time here, unsure if I will continue as they look to increase the grind time to draw out their content for anyone who didn't no-life the game in the first moth of release.

Overall:
Fun dynamic card game that puts a new spin on the usual formula. A challenging new experience which I keep coming back for more. Try and see for yourself.

Comments on the economy:
Artifacts monetization is a gatekeeping model which many have seemed to misconstrue as predatory.
You pay $20 to get an intro into all modes of the game. You can play in events and drafts forever for free if you want.
If you want to get competitive/fill up your card collection of course you are going to spend money. This model/market is cheaper from an overall standpoint for high end and competitive players as well.
