Love what's there so far, the only issue I've had so far is CPU usage. It's a real hog. Average about 20 fps in dense areas. I'm excited to see what they do next though. If they can get the CPU usage under control I could play this all day. Couple of other suggestions:

-We need something to do with all the junk. You just get so much of certain resources and there's nothing to do with a lot of it.

-The gunplay could use a little tweaking. The scrap guns feel a little stiff and ineffective to use.

-The ocean feels a little empty after a while, some more variations of wildlife, or wildlife that will roam around instead of staying in one area would be great.

-Map markers are a must. I want to be able to keep track of where I've been, and take notes. The current system works if there's only two or three places you want to go, but otherwise I just have to scrap the entire island so I don't have to worry about every coming back.

I had to make a review after I saw in patch notes that they were still sitting at mixed. This is a great game with a lot of cool unique systems. I personally love the crafting system as it can be as easy or as deep as you want it to be.

For instance I could craft a gun out of high level materials to get a stronger gun. It'll work fine for what I need to do.

Or if I want to make something crazy I could unlock a higher tier gun recipe, then collect materials of a specific level with specific modifiers, then find a realm with the modifiers I want, then build a crafting area using the furniture that will give me the modifiers I want from that, then refine those into a higher tier material, then find another realm with the crafting modifiers I want for the gun, then build the gun with modifiers that stack from all of those different sources then do the same with each article of clothing to synergize with the build I want to go with this gun, then enchant the gun and each of those pieces of clothing to further stack modifiers, then add a charm to give each a passive ability.

The world is beautiful, the music is beautiful, the story is beautiful, the mechanics are beautiful. Just buy it.

"Together we must take back control of Freedom." Save democracy, repeal the PSN requirement!

Update: Democracy has been preserved! The Snoy infiltration squad sent by the automatons to destroy our way of life has been vanquished. Well done Helldivers!

PS. The game is good.

I love the core game play. It's very satisfying and intuitive. My only real criticism of the game is that the world isn't very immersive. I'd love to see some voice lines while moving units, during deaths, and cut scenes. I'd also like to see some development for the pilots, if you could customize them or if they could rank up to make you care more. If the rebels were more of a presence too on the map, maybe if they have their own units or something. Overall though it is a very solid game so far.

Well, this games been reviewed a lot, and it doesn't really need my input but steam wants me to review something so I can get this nominations badge so I suppose here we go.

Warframe isn't a game for everyone. It's super grindy, it doesn't feel new or super immersive generally speaking. Destiny 2 is a way more immersive game, and I don't care what people think, they are both fairly similar games. But at the end of the day I have like 20 hours on Destiny 2 and over 1000 hours on warframe.

Theres about a thousand reasons why I like Warframe, and I doubt I'll remember them all here but I'll list a few of them here:
-The core gameplay is very satisfying (an absolute must for such a grindy game)
-The loot system feels rewarding (another necessary thing, but really there are very few times where I've finished a mission feeling like it was a waste of time)
-Digital Extremes is an active, and attentive developer who is always working on fixes and new content
-Every weapon/frame/pet/buildable.... thing feels like it has a place, and its own characteristics (By contrast, in many other games games the guns or blades could be switched out with ones of the same class and you'd never know the difference)
-The story gets so much better as you go, it might take you a while you get there but a ton of the later story missions really shake things up in unexpected ways. Sorry for being vague but I don't want to spoil it.
-The game doesn't spoon feed you everything. This could be a negative or a positive, but it was something I enjoyed. There were many times in warframe where I would think I reached the endgame, only to stumble upon a new menu, or new game mode, or new way to mod my warframe, or new progression system. This really kept things fresh in my mind, and made my appreciate the depth of content there is if you really dig for it.
-The platinum system is really more fair than you think it is. Starting out I thought that everything was super pay to win. You gotta pay for weapon slots, colors, warframe slots, primed equipment, yadda yadda yadda. But you really don't. It looks like a horizontal change from one item to another but it's not. You build up standing, you get parts, mods, and materials, you trade with other players, then you build/unlock the item. That is the progression of the game, and getting those warframes/weapons/etc. is the reward for that progression. You can bypass all that and buy platinum but you don't have to. That said, if you do decide to buy platinum I'd reccommend using a lot of it on warframe/weapon slots as getting those out of the way can make the rest of it easier.
-The community is pretty decent. If you have a problem, region chat will typically have advice, or sometimes the people in your current game might be able to help you. People will be people though, and every once in a blue moon I've run into a toxic person but they are the exception, rather than the rule.
