They started banning Linux players with no notice as of the latest patch.
*Update*: The continue to treat Linux players as crimals. This game DOES NOT deserve your attention.

1. Game was verified and working on Linux for a very long time
   
2. Game devs pushed an update and did not have anyone available after in case anything went wrong, it's been well over 24 hours. Absolutely unprofessional from any development team.
   
3. No mention in patch notes of this change.
   
4. No mention of Linux ban on their site, Steam page, or X.
   
5. Saying "we only support windows" in discord comments is not the same as "we don't allow proton with our anticheat". They need to clarify this officially. @Farlight 84-CS

For me, this looks more like Respawn where they treat their user base like crap and basically have no interaction. I was about to go all in supporting this game, but nope. Not going to get crapped on by another live service game. Uninstalled, bye

Awesome game! Their updates have been astounding so far, excited to see what 1.0 looks like.

Fun game, awful management.

I've put off writing this review, hoping that Respawn would ever do anything to make these points invalid. Unfortunately, they have shown through their actions that they will not address these issues, even after years of it being pointed out by the community. Also, they let my in game currency get stolen and there is no way to get that returned. A huge legal issue if it were to be pressed (yes I have proof of this, and complacency on their part).

They put in just enough effort to keep the game running, not to actually improve or fix anything. I think at this point we have history of how the game has been handled, with Respawn completely ignoring long standing issues. The only time we've seen them address criticism is after something like the ALGS hacks, and mostly that was to keep the public quiet.

1. Respawn REFUSES to do a health update. We have needed a season that is dedicated entirely to fixing long standing bugs within the game (4+ years). This would bring back players and improve the overall experience, though again Respawn REFUSES to do this. They refused to do this when they were at the top and raking in profit, and now their numbers are dwindling - it's obvious that was never a priority.
2. Ranked is mostly hackers and config players after Diamond/Masters. GL with that.
3. This means lower ranks are flooded with smurf accounts that don't want to play at higher ranks. Making the game unbalanced.
4. Pubs is anti-casual, matchmaking continues to use casuals as cannon fodder.
5. Have fun dying to level 5-30 accounts that are obviously rage hacking, they are in every match.
6. Hacking is out of control. While rampant in all online games, Respawn appears to have a near non-existent or overall ineffective department in this regard. It is obvious that this does not get the funding that it needs, and they choose to hide behind straight up lies and misconceptions.
7. Respawn has no online support. If your account gets stolen (yes due to their insecure systems), you won't be getting any of your PAID CURRENCY back. There is no channel to do this, there is no way to do this.
8. Low tick servers. Enough said.

An amazing game. One that leaves you with sadness because there aren't any other games which properly fill it's place.

Portal 3 or DLC! PLEASE!

Great game. I had issues running it, changed compatability settings and now it runs well. The PhysX setting doesn't work, it destroys fps. Also HBOA at high destroys fps depending on where you are. I tried at all resolutions with the same results.

So far this is my favorite game in the series. The gameplay is a joy, thrilling, and surrounds you with an atmosphere that you want to be in. The graphics are a work of art, in comparison to the other AC games. One that I will keep on my HD to go back to from time to time just to explore.

Fantastic game! It improves on many aspects of its predecessors, I have not played any future releases yet as I'm playing AC in sequence. The graphics are steller at 1440p max settings, but the game is not without it's flaws. Glitches here and there, and it would crash on certain missions.. could be due to my SLI setup, or maybe not. Forcing a horse to stop during a chase at the same point every time, causing people to fail for no reason is ridiculous! Petty way of making the game more difficult. The story, although exciting and intrigueing, seemed to drag at times.

Regardless of the flaws, this is a solid game. At the moment Brotherhood is still my favorite, if only it had the combat flow this has. Don't skip this game if you are playing AC, it's worth playing for the gameplay alone.

3 months and no SLI support, no official comment on when/if this will be implimented, despite this being circulated on many major tech sites.

This is a great game, but I wouldn't have bought it if I knew this was what SLI support would look like.

Depressing. There is so much I like about this game, yet so much that is left to desire.

Mostly, upset they don't have proper gamepad support. If I need my keyboard alongside my gamepad it's due to improper keybinding support. Star Citizen has much better keybinding for gamepad's.

And for a refund time of 2 hours for a game like this? It takes double that to properly get through training. Thanks Steam and the dev team. Enjoy your money while this game sits uselessly in my library. 8 hours was enough to see that any more invested time would be a waste.
