the game implements some unusual controls. for example, auto mouse acceleration, the mouse feels sloppy on the menus, and you cant tell what sensitivity you actually have unless you play the game. which you cannot change your settings mid game.

they didn't learn from the first one at all. you know whats fun? ledge grabbing puzzles when our parkour system is jank. the story has no draw to it, there is no emotional connection to the game. add on top the constant boss battles, im 2 hours in and im fighting my 3rd boss battle. another note is that you cannot choose when you activate the beast it just does when the bar gets filled, which means if you get into a scenario when you are only in a fight with one zombie and it activates, there goes all your progress to using the ability. there has been multiple scenarios in which this has happened. what made the first game so fun is that it had something grand to go for. this one is just revenge, why should i feel the need to follow through this revenge path. if it tied more into the first it might work. but its like the first game doesn't exist, you get flash backs and nothing else really.

turns my computer into a space heater, still needs some work but is a good game. running around can get a bit boring as it requires you to run for a minute and most of the time you are overweight due to the constant need to carry everything that can be sold. would like to see what they plan to do with it in the future dlc but that time will come.

almost 4 years later and the game still has massive issues, and it seems to get worse with time. a problem from 2023 is still persisting where you start to freeze and constantly freeze at random. its not worth the headache from bf6 skins.

steam achievements keep popping up constantly with progress bar even if i haven't done anything to them, friendly ai will shoot you in the back even if you are not being shot at. plus the recent controversy. game used to cost $39 now it cost $49, and has some issues that still need sorted. some features are hard to figure out due to its lack of information provided. C2 is supposed to be able to break doors with, if you equip it on a locked door no prompt pops up to use it. spamming f to yell get your hands up can get really old, especially with civilians. why does someone need told 5-6 times to put their hands up when faced with 5 swat members. also you cant cut power to any buildings which makes the use of night vision weird, if i need it to see how come the enemies im facing see perfectly fine with no form of light source. you cant vault, so if you see a window that you would be able to climb into, you cant. its not a terrible game but definitely needs some features that one would think would be in this game added added. what you see in the second video in the game is nothing like the actual game play, as soon as you enter that level you immediately are in a fire fight. if you do buy this game count your time and make sure that you actually want to keep the game before you run past the 2 hour mark.

remember how bulky and crouch spamming xdefiant was. this is it. game feels bulky to run, but you can crouch spam and jump spam. love how the enemies are all bullet sponges and take almost an entire clip to kill? this game is just not fun. at all, i tried to play it but instead it was nothing but dying to 3 shots while i have to shot the enemy 7-8 times. i could not recommend this game, at all. they took some of the ideas from bf 2042 then made it feel like xdefiant, i dont know why this has positive reviews, the game is sub par in terms of fps. its not a tactical shooter, its not distinct from any other game. its the exact thing these Chinese companies do where they copy the game modes of a bunch of well known games then make it feel even more unresponsive. if you must know why it feels so rough, its the devs of cod mobile, that dumpster fire of a game.

if you want to experience reddit simulator. where everyone is out to hate you then this game is perfect for you. its when the fortine kids start to mature, so now they spend either the entire time building or 2-3 hours by a door hoping to make it big by door camping you. its when the people that have no jobs in china or russia, farm monuments and ore nodes for 10 hours straight to raid anyone that also spends that same amount of time doing the same thing, while you struggle to make it off the beach. its when cheaters can log into a new account on steam faster than you open packages from ups like a kid on christmas. its where people cant read, so they ask a question that was answered before they even got on the server. its where people repeat them selves by asking the same question 10 times, and will still ask it even if no one answers. its where people complain about no one playing the server they just joined, to then play it for 8 hours. its where you go if you desire to hate humanity, but dont want to get a twitter account. its where you go if you want to see a salt mine from the comfort of your own home. its where you go if you seen a video from someone with 10k hours and they seem to do ok. most importantly, you will play the game on a no pop server get that fill of raiding then go to a populated server to be raided before you even get a rifle.

TLDR: if you didn't want to read it, or couldn't rust is the perfect game for you. the player base is a bit iffy at times but you will fit right in. don't forget to gamble.

i bought this game for retail, im now going to complain that i bought it for retail. someone must had held a gun to my head because why would i buy this old game retail.

that's a summary of a good portion of the reviews if its such a problem you can try to get an old ps3 or xbox and red dead redemption for under 50. you could also try to emulate, oh wait every game that uses rage engine can barely be emulated. what you get is an old game on pc that never was, with features that the game never had. yeah its old, no ♥♥♥♥ not like i didn't play it years ago, but guess what, you complain games aren't good now, and old games getting a refresh and re-release is a bad thing. then guess its time for you to make your own original game. its a rant but its a rant that im going to be honest with, no one has to buy this game for this price. no one is forcing you to buy it, this is rockstar we are talking about, their entire spiel is monetizing gta online to an extent that you either spend 1k or take 1k hours to get to the same point. why did you expect that everything else was going to be cheap, makes no sense at all to think that way. lastly, if people think its just a simple port, please try to emulate it see how well that works. i guarantee you it runs like hot garbage.

i don't know why you would want this game. driving feels terrible, midnight club LA from 2008 feels more responsive. turning, breaking, and acceleration are all lack luster. it feels like your the captain of a sea vessel. i cant tell you how they accomplished that but they did. its truly hard to explain how bad the turning really is, you start to get a little speed and this car doesn't want to turn. even the drift cars turn like crap. it makes no sense how a game that's supposed to be an arcade style racing game, has the worst driving you can imagine. i know a lot of you are probably thinking that they made it "realistic" in the turning, they dint when i say a little speed im talking 70, in a fully built race car. that's supposed to have better handling and better grip than your average car. its truly impressive how they made the cars all feel like sedans. story is bland, need for speed most wanted (2005) has a better story and it basically has none. upgrading is terrible, you have to roll for upgrades, and hope that you get the right one. drifting is horrid, you tap the e brake to initiate a drift? loose a quarter of your speed, turn for to long because apparently EA doesn't know how turning works you drift for 5 feet. motion blur makes the game feel fast. you turn it off and it feels like your going the speed limit. it feels like they are trying to rip off the crew, which stole half its ideas from need for speed. speaking honestly this game is a 2/10 in terms of any racing game. need for speed 4/10 that's just because they set the bar so low. if you want a good racing game play the old ones or play forza horizon. at this point EA isnt even a competitor, its a selling point.

the game has its moments but it generally fun.
