It's been a really long time since I last played a game that was as good as this... The story is awesome, the gameplay is awesome, the music is mostly awesome, the game mechanics are awesome, just everything was awesome. I can't recommend this anymore highly to others. If you stumble across this review, stop wasting time, buy and play this game.

I'd genuinely forgotten what it felt like to play a good game... It's been a while since a team put in this kind of effort... Good job devs, can't wait to see what else you guys make. :) <3

Do yourself a favour, avoid as many spoilers or reading up on what this game is... Instead say ♥♥♥♥ it and give it a go... Yes there are definitely a number of lewd and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up sex scenes throughout but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game is so much more than that... Did not expect to enjoy this game or to finish it but I'll admit the story had me hooked right up until the end... Given I thought it would be something for me and the boys to laugh at for an hour and never touch again and we ended up playing 9 hours until we finished I was pleasantly surprised. Gg devs, keep up the awesome work. :)

The Shore is an okay game at best, though its price point is more than double what they should be asking for it. Realistically the game has about 1.5 - 2 hours of content which is stitched together in weird mini scenes that leave you feeling really disconnected and confused about what's even happening.

Additionally if you aren't heavily into lovecraftian horror then the nods to old gods and things from lovecraft books will go totally over your head, mean nothing and not instil any horror or dread in you whatsoever.

Graphically the game was beautiful, the music was on point and excellent, the voice acting was okay at best with the main character sounding like he was on an entry level poorly set up professional mic.

All in all I had an okay time in the game but it really just felt like a very shiny flash game at best which is why I'd say it's not worth the asking price whatsoever.

This was possibly the worst game I've ever played. I'll happily throw money at games and microtransactions in the blink of an eye and even I feel cheated out of my $1. It hangs every 10-15 seconds for about 20-30 seconds on all menus. It has stupidly long load times. The multiplayer seemingly doesn't actualy work whatsoever. Even when my mate and I tried joining a "random party" it just dropped us into the custom game lobby that wasn't working and we couldn't invite each other / when we tried the other person didn't receive it.

I've played 15 year old free flash games that were infinitely better than this. The dev clearly put zero effort into it whatsoever and personally this barely scraps through as a game. I have no idea why steam are allowing this kind of crap on their store as it just devalues their platform.

Would not recommend under any circumstances. Instead of throwing $1 away on this punch vigorously punch yourself in your genitals instead, it will be more entertaining and a better use of your time.
