I played this game all the way through the first evening I bought it, I enjoyed the game play quite a bit, but it felt like the story elements were really flat and lacking, it didn't feel like the dialogue options I chose had any impact. I would have been more okay with this if I could have actually followed my character through the entire life instead of graduating high school, being told what all my friends did post-college and *poof* getting a partner at the end or not. I was expecting something a lot more full-fulling, but when I got to the end I kind of just sat there and went "That's it??"

I wasn't a big fan of how the parents spoke to this kids either, it was super judgmental at times, and replaying, the parents basically said the same thing, or at least that's what it felt like. I wouldn't really recommend this to anyone I know.

Maybe I didn't read enough on the summary of the game, but this is how I feel about the game after experiencing it.

Very, very fun. I enjoyed the fact that Wytchwood encouraged finding alternative solutions to straight combat and the fact that most spells and such had multiple uses throughout the game instead of primarily being one-off uses. The story was highly enjoyable and I only wish we could learn more about the maiden.

I really enjoy the game, there are some minor bugs but there rather alright. I really enjoy playing with my friends especially since I can't see them in person due to Covid. In addition to this I really enjoy building in the game. It's frustrating but that's mostly because there is a learning curve while figuring out how building works in this game. I love my house and the customizability.

Going out and hunting down different enemies and the different bosses is so much fun. I die often but regardless of that fact I have so much fun. I appreciate that tools don't break fully and that you can straight repair them instead of having to craft entirely new tools.

I do find some frustration when it comes to farming. There's no good way to move your tamed boars which makes keeping them incredibly difficult, especially when trying to put fire near them so you can see in the pen at night since they're still afraid of fire even while tamed. In addition I'm really hoping for some way to cultivate berries at some point. A player in a server I'm in set down some carrot seeds, a LOT of carrot seeds, and when they went back to them all the carrot seeds were gone. Now copper has been left sitting out and none disappeared but the carrot seeds definitely did.
