:summer2019trees: :summer2019trees2: My Favorite Books :summer2019trees2: :summer2019trees:

:espresso: All Systems Red - Martha Wells (a short and sweet sci-fi novella about a murderbot and the humans it wants to protect. I love it.)
:espresso: The Troop - Nick Cutter (Disgusting in a great way. Definitely look up content warnings for this one though.)
:espresso: Bunny - Mona Awad (horror comedy, relatable to those who have tried too hard to fit in)
:espresso: The Militia House - John Milas (House of Leaves meets the horrors of war.)
:espresso: Ninth House - Leigh Bardugo (Dark academia + magic + horror = one of my favorite books of all time??)
:espresso: Hide - Kiersten White (I've read this book six times. Horror story about being trapped in an abandoned theme park.)
:espresso: Piranesi - Susanna Clarke (It's hard for me to define the genre beyond "magical realism". It's a bit cozy, a bit horrifying.)
:espresso: Never Whistle at Night - multiple authors (really fun horror short story collection.)
:espresso: Vermis - Plastiboo (If you like the vibes of Dark Souls, this art book tells a really incredible story!)
:espresso: Entangled Life - Merlin Sheldrake (I don't typically read non-fiction. This book changed that for me.)
:espresso: Dehiscent - Ashley Deng (Dystopian, eco sci-fi horror? Odd little book. Bittersweet.)
