A fabulous beat 'em up in its own right if it was a normal entry into the genre, but the roguelike mechanics give it a unique flair.

A charming fantasy spin on the farming genre. Great fun with friends. Lacking polish in a few areas, but it generally doesn't bring down the experience, and the continued developer support has been great.

While it's clear at times this title was on a small budget, SoulCalibur VI make up for it with a lot of effort and heart. The single-player offerings are extensive, and the gameplay is what you expect from SoulCalibur with a handful of new mechanics. It's great to finally see a game in the franchise on PC.

If you're a fan of classic beat 'em ups, this game will definitely appeal to you. It's simple at a glance, but it offers extensive combo options for players that want to look deeper into the mechanics. The game also does a good job of teaching you most of these mechanics with its training mode after you've gone through the game once and unlock it. My only complaint would be the lack of online play, but one can only expect so much with a single developer creating the game. It's a stellar effort for a first release on Steam.

Extremely easy to pick up, extremely hard to master. Compared to typical sports games where complicated actions are done with the press of a button, Rocket League is like learning a whole new ball sport in itself where every action is based on your skill and decisions, not a preset animation. It is extermely satisfying to always be able to build on your skills much like playing a real-life ball sport.
