It's a massive improvement to the original game. Not just graphics, but everything. The building is a million times better. There are so many quality of life changes and the game looks beautiful. A lot of features that previously relied on mods are now just a part of the game. There's no way I could go ever back to the original game now.

The cons are that in its current state it doesn't run that great and it tends to crash pretty frequently, but that's something that I know will change and won't be an issue in the future. You can tell the people complaining that it's "just an HD texture pack" haven't actually played the game because the graphics are just a small fraction of the improvements made.

I've been having a blast so far. Before the game came out I was worried I would have trouble running it in 4K, since other games have been giving me issues but I now have over 60 hours, been playing in 4K with everything maxed out and the game runs very smooth. Never experienced any crashes, game breaking bugs or performance issues. The only bug I've experienced during my 60+ hours is one where Andreja sometimes has an invisible head after coming out of stealth camo. lmfao. But it goes away by itself after a few minutes. Slightly disappointed in the space travel being more like The Outer World, would've preferred it to be more like No Man's Sky, but the rest of the game more than makes up for that. I can see myself putting hundreds of hours into this game for years to come.

One of the most beautiful games I've ever played. It's clear they put a lot of thought and love into this game. Tons of QOL features right out of the box that most developers don't add until years of players begging.

I love Wallpaper Engine

HOWEVER, a recent update broke it for me. The "clone single wallpaper" feature that previously worked for me just fine, no longer seems to work. It shows it working on the software, but it doesn't actually clone the wallpaper to the other monitors. It only shows it on my primary monitor. Wallpapers with dynamic resolution have stopped working for me entirely. It sucks because it used to work for me fine and I loved it, but until they fix it, I'm not going to use it. I have 3 monitors so it's annoying having to go through and set each one individually to the same thing instead of being able to just choose a wallpaper and have it automatically clone to all 3. I tried it on multiple computers and I have the same issue on all of them, so I know it's not just an issue with my computer, or my monitors (I know you can't clone from HDR monitors to non-HDR monitors, my monitors aren't HDR). Overall, I recommend this software, however, in it's current state I wouldn't use it, unless you only have a single monitor and won't be impacted by the "clone" feature not functioning. Hopefully they fix it soon.
