I award the developers a trophy for the most obnoxious, most ear-ripping voice acting for plot characters and ESPECIALLY because of that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ advisor. Seriously, if there was no VA at all, I would consider leaving a positive review. You can start the game with advisor volume muted and you will have a MUCH better experience. Characters are designed to sound like idiots; if it was reinforcing some stereotypes, it would look like comedy/satire, but no, it's just bad for the sake of being bad.

The game is BORING, the campaign missions are repetitive as hell and there is little variety in the city-building component, and no building strategies for doing anything beyond the starting circle because you simply can't build there. While you try to play, advisor interrupts you all the time, moves camera, and blocks input with its popups when the audio & text could just run in parallel with the actual gameplay with no detriment to the plot. The first mission is an exquisite onboarding failure where it tries to explain EVERYTHING in the game in 10 minutes while giving almost no freedom to the player to adequately try everything out.

The bounty system is whacky because sometimes ALL the heroes will rush to kill a boss for 50 bucks but just few low-level heroes will do anything for 500?????

UI design is all over the place, the main gameplay UI is okay but the rest looks like a very, very cheap mobile game. In overall you will see lack of polish in how units' portraits randomly change colors, dialogues have typos and VA doesn't match the text, villagers' animations are too fast for no reason. It feels undercooked, rushed, and is definitely badly designed as a game.

Alsoooo this game uses neuroslop backgrounds and doesn't disclose that — uncool.

This game does soooo, so much to hate it; it's an example on how NOT to do tower defence / resouce manager / RTS. It fails at every component and thus is neither of it, and looks like the whole campaign is one huge afterthought that became a ragebait, when survival mode is what was indeed tested by public before the release.

At a high level, this game introduces several conflicting mechanics, which is good in a vacuum and could be great if done correctly:

— You need to expand on the map to get vital resources and to raise your resource income exponentially; map control is achieved slowly as every building requries a power transmitter to be built, including the power transmitters.
— You also need to fend off zombies that can wander into your base silently and casually, thus vast perimeters are risky.
— You balance resources between military, defence, and production.
— You (initially) have limited research points for vital projects.

In practice, just one zombie (among the billions™) is enough to cause a restart because, even in the "lore", people turn into zombies momentarily, buildings are flimsy af, and everything cascades in one huge reaction; once a zombie did slip, your chances on recovery are around 20% if you did manage to scrap a small army, and you will have smaller chances that you will later be able to fight against the scripted hordes. You want to rush towards the stone which is protected by zombos, as stone is required to produce any units, for which you send your few starting ones and thus have to lower the amount of people actually guarding your base, and patrolling with few rangers or soldiers is not enough once zombos start walking into your base in larger numbers.

Okay, let's assume you correctly stretched your limited resources and gods of random did not make a zombie slip into your base, so you didn't have to experience the cartoonishly unrealistic outbreak ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and you did pass the 5-day mark of game playtime — maybe even a first horde! What's next?

Next it turns out that some researches are required on several missions and you must do miracles to win them if you don't have these researches, and every map's scripted waves come from predetermined directions and you can just remember them, aaaand also exploration gives you small resource boosts and new resource extraction locations — IF you know where to go, and it is not easy to traverse the map and expand when they are billions™ and you're starting with 4 archer gals, or a bit more if you wasted your research points for that. Plus zombie waves always go in a congo line so you can just concentrate your initial defences there.
You have to rush towards lucifers in a straight line in the research tree if you want to do anything on higher difficulties; ballistas can be a pleasant detour, so can be a tesla tower. Everything else is not that relevant because most units and defences do not do AoE when the whole game is about countering billions™ of enemies on wide defencive perimeters. Ballistas are mediocre but at least cheap and accessible early.

Oh, and once your one sniper levels up, be ready that the whole map will now beeline towards your base because of the noise system in this game and the doubled attack speed on veteran snipers.

The difficulty balancing is whacky; on some maps you almost lose with high-grade defences and a nice army, on others of the same tier you go afk because there are 30+ days to wait till the mission completion and the whole map is covered in defences.

But maybeeee the other parts of gameplay are deep or well-polished? No: RTS controls have no commodities except for the presence of control groups. You can shift-queue movement but not attack-movement, or elimination of specific enemies — thus more babysitting of your units. The economic layer has buildings giving resources depending on terrain and few rules on how you can place them, but after you escape your starting circle of ephemeral safety, you can just smother buildings randomly with no perceivable penalty. Even Factorio is a better RTS with its biters when it is not even remotely about RTS.

Okay, let's leave these classic campaign missions alone because I'm not yet talking about the other half of it, the two other kinds of missions: no-build hero missions and something-something-defend-a-tower.

Hero missions are made in the worst taste of early RTS: you usually have one unit made of glass, face traps and have to kill the billions™, and lose instantly once this hero dies. Oh, didn't I tell that there is essentially no saves in the whole game? Shortly, the game says "♥♥♥♥ you" on most missions, where either you open a room with too speedy enemies that you can't outkite, or where there is a trap that melts you into butter in a second, or electric towers that instakill you, or you misclick a barrel and die, or your allies burn you to ashes, or there is a room with too fast enemies and there is a trap behind you. Also you have an opportunity to pick a hero at the start and can't change it, and that sucks because while you can have a mobile maneuverable gal that can kill any zombie at mid-range with several shots, the other hero... one-shots. In an area. At long range. Wow. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wow. Another case where the game expects you to know things or you will be miserable. The whole missions are also just gunfight and opening doors, your heroes don't have any RPG-like abilities except the consumable grenades, and on most missions the hero will remain the only unit you control. What a thrilling gameplay!

Oh, and on these no-build missions you get, like, 2/3rds of all your research points and also have to find this and the other kind of points as tiny interactive objects that can look like any other barrel or box, so you wiggle your cursor on every room hoping it will change, like in some ancient point-and-click game.

The plot is also not explained here, most of the time the mission description is "we don't know what's in there, but you go there anyways", and you find abstract rooms with abstract equipment at best. Lore is abyssmal that it would just be removed with little detriment.

The third mission type blocks access to other misisons, and you need to repel huge hordes of zombos against one singular tower. There are usually tons of congo lines from which zombies try to attack you, and there is just one map where tower-defence brain would be useful as on all the other maps THE correct answer is just buying all the soldiers (or lucifers when you unlock them) and putting them in one big pile around the tower. That's it. You can go cook something. Or take a dump. I did with no regrets.

I saw this game on GGG's stream and decided to play it myself, to take a break; I genuinely tried to see good in this game, but I now understand that I just wasted time and nerves and I would better just play SC2, or transport tycoon, or anything else where the game direction was more...directed. This game is a mess.

I guess graphics are nice, that's the only good quality.

It's mediocre coopslop, and is best played with just two players.

The game spawns enemies you can't do anything with most of the time, the physics will either kill you or send your rover flying, and in overall it feels more like Chained Together than a survival or driving game, and, as with "just jumping" in that game, in this one the hardest task is just driving in a straight line on boards you lay in front of your wheels. There is no depth here and the screenshots and the trailer video on the Steam page show 95% of the experience: tugging a van with a winch, smoking, and falling. Failing rarely creates rewarding problem-solving situations and it is better to just try again from a checkpoint.

Visually and partially gameplay-wise the game tries to be PEAK on wheels, but does it with hideous characters, flying trees on a hand-made map, and with overall unpolished feel. Oh. and the main mechanics after driving are smoking, drinking beer, and eating burgers. Just ew.

— от пёселя;
— от озера;
— от своей же ловушки;
— от двери;
— от хозяина дыр;

This game... didn't age well. Quite bad in game design, especially by modern standards. UI and controls choices are also very questionable.
If you want a similar sandbox/RPG game, maybe Starbound or something newer will be a better choice.

A really good parkourvania with smart navigation puzzles and really tough optional challenges. Unfortunately I couldn't 100% it, though I did unlock all the powerups and stole a good portion of coins.
