battlefield 6 really shows that modern military shooters can indeed make an amazing comeback after huuuge failures, heres what makes this iteration great compared to older titles:

class system is back again, some reworks have been done to spice it up a little bit
very good core gameplay on infantry combat and vehicle combat
authentic vehicle models and weapon models that have nice textures and incredible SMALL details that only certain people would notice which makes the xperience so much better
amazing destruction that is both visually pleasing and satisfying in gameplay
immersive factions with authentic soldier designs
amazing audio design that is aggressive like past prime titles
war mixtapes returning and getting a new version
superb optimization for a launch state of the game
weapons feel good, heavy and nice to use
classic conquest gamemodes being fun as ever to play with escalation being an amazing new gamemode

truly, battlefield has returned to form and DICE have straightened themselves up reeaaaal good


...is what i would say if the game wasn't ultimately plagued by the following CURRENT issues, which is why currently i put a negative review on this game:

lack of suppression to debuff accuarcy on snipers, making LMGs useless for mid-long range combat
chat moderation bot banning people for 168 hours for certain keywords that are not used in offensive contexts
awful soldier customization that is INFERIOR TO BATTLEFIELD 5'S customization (how)
some gadgets being completely useless, mainly assaults stun launcher and adrenaline
stingers that are able to one shot helos but RPGs cannot, and the SRAW rocket launcher unable to kill helos (why?)
very tight small maps with tight boundaries, causing lobbies to be constant chaos and to discourage flanking and utilizing commando tactics to sneak and capture points in the enemy's back
...with very small air boundaries for aircraft, causing minimal breathing room to manuever around the map to avoid AA
no jet loadouts
no helicopter gunner loadouts
rush only being 16v16 and there is no large scale rush
breakthrough is a hit or miss depending on the map, its either steamroll or get steamrolled
new sobek city as a map, have fun flying helicopters without being chewed alive lol
faction identification being harder due to no consistent theme of gear (something it never had issues with, except with bf2042)
and class identification being non existant with the new pax armata faction because the characters are not class locked

update: some of the issues have been fixed to accomodate for better gameplay and there are FINALLY nato male skins, albeit you need to pay for them (lol) but the game is in a slightly better state right now but the playercount has dwindled to a skeleton number compared to launch, so the changes made were already too late.

it sucks seeing what was supposed to be the next great step in the battlefield franchise just be a total train wreck due to player manipulation and somehow ruining the immersive feel of the game, the netcode being horrible and the god awful challenges that were in the game that i STILL completed anyway.

dropkicking is back on the menu and the beaver give me the unc stick for busting kneecaps on dudes

as if cracktorio wasn't already as addicting as it was before now it's legit even more addicting compared to any narcotics that exist in this world

the DLC expands upon the anti climatic ending and adds planets you can explore to and i've barely managed to scratch the surface by getting to the first planet in 60 HOURS

10/10 well done Wube, i see transport belts when i close my eyes yet again
