"The way we enable you to do that is to let you rewind your turn as many times as you like!"
A game after my own heart!

Do you want a tech demo where you do random meaningless "missions" over and over again where the game crashes half the time and you get kicked off your team the other half?

Buy this game right now.

This is the best RPG ever made. Better than Fallout 1 and 2, Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, Torment, Arcanum, KotOR2, Pillars 1 and 2, Age of Decadence, Bloodlines, the lot.
It's better than Disco Elysium as well.
Baldur's Gate 3 is so good I can't tell you how good it is.

This is a game about choosing the right buildings/units to build. If you choose the right buildings/units to build, you win! If you DON'T choose the right buildings/units to build, you lose. The game knows which buildings/units are the right buildings/units to build, but it won't tell you. So if you like figuring out which buildings/units are the right buildings/units to build, this is the game for you. If you're lucky enough to have friends who like figuring out which buildings/units are the right buildings/units to build, then this is also the game for you. But you will lose.

Single best first person shooter of all time. It delivers on all fronts except start-to-finish frenetic action. And even there it's a better shooter than most.
Outstanding attention to detail, environmental storytelling, world-building, nuance, and mystery, Prey has it all, I cannot recommend this game enough.

Fantastic, so far. The writing is very witty and layered!

The writing is ridiculously verbose and has nothing to say, the storyline is so spread out, you'll struggle to remember who the main enemy is (and the main enemy feels like a side quest), companions are infuriating and silly, the combat is absolutely broken by how hard it is (in the later game especially) unless you are min maxing the heck out of your team, there are SO MANY trash mobs it's totally absurd, but really, for me, the writing is the biggest downfall. It comes across as written for the "look how many words I can write ain't I smart?" effect, and no, you're not smart when half the characters speak as if they were written in Russian first, which obviously they were, but to add insult to injury, none of the main characters have character growth, their story arcs are extremely simplistic, they often come across as plain jerks if not worse (seriously, they're all terrible people), and you won't believe the ending of the game. It is so vaccuous and hackneyed, there's nothing to be remember, no lessons to learn, no characters to love or hate. Just many many many long minutes of not amazing voice acting agonizing over super contrived ways of writing that doesn't say anything or go anywhere.
It took me forever to finish this game. I had to take a long break in the middle but I eventually mustered the strength to finish it. I'm glad I did. Even if I had to use cheats to get past all the combat in the last 10 or so hours of my 150h campaign (and even THEN it was boring). I'm glad I finished it because now I know to completely disregard the opinions of anyone who says this is a good game. It is not a good game. It needs to have 20% of the dialog, 10% of the combat and a story that isn't there to waste your time.

Great old-school turn based RPG, decades of experience and passion, it shows.
