Most of the negative reviews are from folks who bought Livonia and are salty that it is now free with the base game and all they gave us was a sound track as compensation. That said I was one of the folks who did get burned by Livonia going free and I will admit getting a Soundtrack that i have absolutely no interest in is taking the piss.

That said The Frostline DLC is actualy worth the $25 unlike Livonia which was like $30 when i came out for a map that was quite literally just a cheap and lazy port from Arma-3! And while the terrain here is Based on Tanoa. Another Arma 3 dlc map. It was torn down to just the terrain and rebuilt up from there. Not only that it has been extensively worked on by The same Gentleman who made the Namalsk Map. And his touch is definitely felt and appreciated here. Overall you will get your moneys worth and these people complaining about Price dont have a clue how much effort went into and goes into making maps like this. Not only that every building has some kind of environmental storytelling that just hits you hard if your in Dayz for the survival aspect.

If your in it solely for PVP, Or Kill montages. Kindly go to Pubg or Fortnight, because you wont notice this stuff and just got WAAAAHHHH its to hard and I can't just go ham on every freshie with a m4 i got 30 seconds in.

That said Is Sakhal perfect? No not at all it has some issues where its not the best optimized, and the loot tiers are being fleshed out. its had 2 adjustments since it came out. Which is more then we got with livonia which was utter ass for the first year it was out before it got fixed. The devs didn't talk to the community and broke a few modded maps, Deer Isle/Banov being the two big ones. So the launch wasn't the smoothest.

But the fact its being actively worked on and the issues I pointed out on Twitter were very quickly addressed makes me feel that the devs are listening to us. But some folks are upset that a few old bugs resurfaced on launch. Which to be fair yeah is annoying but Isnt really worth the Hate folks are sending towards this DLC. Dayz and Stalker are as CV-11 has stated, Graced with a touch of Slav Jank. And to be fair other then Ladders most the "Bugs" are giggle worthy and don't really break the game. I mean FFS CoD would charge you $25 for a gun skin and most of these folks would buy it. Yet theses idiots are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about getting 83 Square Kilometers of new map, not made by AI as not being worth the money? Grow up.

The only thing DayZ really needs to fix is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Chinese hacker problems on official. Its annoying to spawn in get tp-ed to debug Isle to hear some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ go "China Numbah 1" x16 times then magic bullet start killing the whole server. But you can also just find a Vanilla Community server and that is no longer a problem.

If your only in Dayz for the "I have 10k+ hour Kill montages" your going to not like this DLC. If your In it for the survival aspect, The adventure and journey. Then you will Like this DLC. And if you wanna hold off buying it then do. I have no doubt in about another month or two this map will be much better polished. But the Dayz team is tiny. Its not AAA Studio utilizing AI to make a game in a year like CoD.

Pros:
Games pretty good even with some jank here and there. and one of the funnest nfs games in ages.

Cons:
The switch from origin to the EA app broke this game badly to the point theres a major chain of BS you need to go down to even get the game to load with the EA app. So untill the EA app is removed or disabled. I cant recommend this game. If you wish to play it buy a copy. then torrent a app free version. Its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ we must suffer to play with our legally purchased items.

PS: F*$@ OFF WITH YOUR TRASH DRM EA!

Pros:
The gameplay itself, is solid, fun, and controls well. Theres a lot of fun and care in this game and has been since the origional.

Cons:
It wont load in 90% of the cases not because of the game, but the switch from Origin. ((Which was trash to begin with.)) To the EA app which cant even load, constantly forgets cloud saves and forcibly tries to overwrite local files. ((Heat does this too now)) So I can not in any way recommend anyone play this game legally through steam. As it wont work unless you want to preemptively log in manually to the ea app every time you wish to play. Currently if you wish to play this I recommend you buy it for a license, then download a cracked/pirated version. Your not missing anything with the terrible multiplayer anyways. and this will let you actually play the game you payed for without jumping through hoops.

Pros:
New updates are great and consistent now, alot of bad bugs fixed!
Cons:
Ladders are still OP and need a nerf, way more lethal then the bears. That and cars like to be helicopters and still fly occasionally.
