My favorite game of 2020 - and yes, with that I am not capable of having an entirely objective view on this game but after years of game developers trying to create games that are way over the top and filled to the brim with features, Deep Rock Galactic was developed, focussing on one core mechanic: Brilliant cooperative gameplay.

From the point, I've booted the game for the first time until now, I love this game!

[EDIT:] A few months and 400 hours later, I am now told to update my steam review for whatever reason. So here I go: It's still awesome!

[EDIT:] Another steam award is around the corner. Naturally I voted for this game again. To my surprise Ghost Ship Games even added a new update which doubles the games' content. It is an absolute blast with friends and encourages tactical communication. It is made with so much care and you can feel that it is developed without crunch. Keep it up! For many years to come!
