Performance is getting better, still needs work. Classic MH gameplay. Focus mode is a natural addition that adds a similar system to clutch claw from iceborne that flows smoothly. Banger monster additions, excited for the expansion.

Chill game. Come a long way since I started playing when it first released in early access.

I really liked the first game. I liked before the storm and the third game.
But man.

It should NOT have been segmented releases. Thankfully they didn't repeat that with 3.
What made the first game special to me was the rewind puzzles and how the player choices felt like they had subtle but noticeable impacts.
In 2, the power is meaningless, and all the choices feel like they just build into 2 sides, and whichever side got more choices just dictates the ending.
What really made the story of the first game shine was how much detail was put into the cast, but because of the plot of the second being the main characters constantly on the road, it's a different cast every chapter, so they aren't able to develop any other characters.

In isolation, it's not that bad of a game. But it's a bad Life is Strange game.
