Nominated this game for "Best Use of a Farm Animal." This is easily the most entertainment you'll get out of 99 cents.

10/10 would shoot zombie pigs again.

At the time of writing this, I have only played a bit through the tutorial of this game. I was one of the lucky folks who was given a Steam key for this game by the developer himself as a sort of launch celebration. Thus far into playing it, I highly recommend this game. It has a very sleek UI along with a pretty good soundtrack. The general theme and feel of the game is fairly consistent and, if you enjoy other tower defense games or orbital shooters, you're likely to enjoy this as well. The camera controls can be a bit tricky to pick up as the stage seems to constantly rotate at a slow pace. All in all though, this game is well done and I'd pass it a solid recommendation.

A game that truly is different. I'm not sure how else to describe it really. Only If is a game that I, personally, have been tracking since its beta stages on GameJolt. It's beautiful, to say the least, and each room provides its own unique flair to the experience. The puzzles in this game do make for a decent challenge and the story itself is quite... interesting. The player is presented with two options from the beginning that will decide how the game is going to play out. Just be prepared for a few twists and turns. This is certainly a wild, confusing, and fun-filled ride.

This is a game that I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone, if for no other reason than it is a beautiful adventure game for a price that you can't beat.

Early Access Review
This is a highly recommended game for those that wish to play DayZ but may not be able to afford it or those who want a sort of DayZ apocalypse with a twist. Unturned is a game that is a sort of combination between Minecraft and DayZ. Not only do you go forth and survive the zombie apocalypse by slaying the undead hordes and looting places to help gear you up for the next encounter but you're presented with the option of creating your own homestead.

By collecting various materials and crafting the necessary supplies, you can create a place that you may finally call home in this new wasteland. You can also fortify this new home with items such as sandbags or shields along with placing caltrops, barbed wire, and spike traps to lay waste to your enemies that wish to penetrate your fortress.

This game is still in Early Access and thus, I'm sure there are a few bugs, though I've yet to come across any. It provides hours of entertainment and it makes for a great game to play with friends or complete strangers. You really can get to know a person when fighting off zombie hordes with nothing more than a baseball bat and a Colt.

On top of this, there is a skill tab that allows one to improve various things in exchange for XP. The XP system provides incentive for killing zombies, chopping trees, or mining rocks. Through the skill tab, one may improve their "Survival" skill (one that makes you thirst and hunger slower), "Vitality" skill (a skill that reduces infection rate and improves your health), "Marksman" skill (one that increases aim and lowers kickback of weapons), and many other skills.

Some things that I would love to see implemented in future versions of this game include the ability to fly airplanes, drive boats, swim underwater, and, if the developer is willing, I would love to see larger maps. While PEI is a great starter map to become acquainted with the world and dynamics, I would adore a more diverse map selection as well as the ability to leave the starting island to venture off into unknown lands.

Overall, and to bring it back to my original point, I cannot recommend this game enough. This is, definitely, one of the best games I've played in a long time, especially for what it is, and you certainly can't beat the price. The developer has done a great service to Apocalyptic Survival games everywhere with Unturned.
