Great game so far, all the negative reviews is just about a person that has nothing to do with the game quality itself. It's unnecessary Hogwarts Legacy hate all over again, just because no like likes J.K. Rowling even though didn't had any involvement with the game itself. Also it's still Early Access, and the devs been continuously making changes through the beta branch overtime, I recommend playing beta branch.

I only got like maybe 4 hours of fun from and game progression in this game when it launched, and I haven't heard of any development within the past year. There currently isn't enough content to make the game worth getting at the current state, and you'll get 100% unlocks way too quickly. However the fundamental gameplay mechanics is very fun and if you ever played the F Zero genre you will get very similar vibes to both F Zero X and GX, just it's noticeably in the Early Access phase and has been just about 0 communication or lack of updates since apart 1 small one back in July. If this game ever does get the out of EA phase I plan to revisit it, and if there's enough content I'll change my review then to most likely a positive one.

Beaten the game, here's the main issues I had with it compared to Hollow Knight:

- Not enough of the main currency is spread out in the game, benches requires a starting fee of Rosaries, and too many spam of the secondary currency instead which is way to easy to obtain and is only for tools.

- 1 hit damage basically only exists within the first 2 hours of the game, so have fun basically only having half health later, everything does 2 hit damage.

- Difficulty needs to be tweaked in some areas, Both Bilewaters and the Ice place wasn't fun because of the acid and cold mechanic were both awful to deal with. If you don't know where to go right away in the cold area, or you make one mistake in platforming, it's automatic damage, and possibly death for you. The acid mechanic, makes it so you can't heal, unless you used your heal at least once, and then refill silk back up again, on top of that they spam re-spawning exploding enemies in that area.

- Died to a boss? Have fun backtracking to it for 2 - 5 minutes for each attempt to fill unnecessary padding, this is the case for MOST bosses.

Currently only 7% of Silksong owners on Steam has completed the game, I don't see this going up by a whole lot anytime soon unless Team Cherry made some changes, this game requires heavy patience's and determination which I don't see many will have. They're some moments in the game that is genuinely really enjoyable but all the pain and complaints I have sadly outweigh them, don't play this game play Hollow Knight instead if you haven't yet.

Misleading, made me think it was game content. If you want to purchase music then this would be fine for you, but if you were here for extra in game content this doesn't do that.

Really fun game, highly addicting! The only thing I will say is that it could use a few QoL improvements, nothing too urgent, just some stuff which could be updated to the game overtime based on player feedback. (I'll provide them overtime within their discord).

What is this game, how would I explain it in my own words? Drop Duchy is a hybrid of Tetris, Deck building, and Rogue-lite in one. The maps and placement of tiles is Tetris like, get through 3 Acts carving your own path of combat levels which will make the bosses of each act easier, or to go with exploration levels where the whole purpose is to build up as much resources you can possibly can to gain. While completing rows gives you resource bonuses, and if you complete multi-rows you can get an even greater bonus, the amount of depth in this game quickly shows you that going for them is not always your best move in different variation of scenarios. Whenever it's based on your cards you choose throughout your adventure, or to work your way around military building pieces with abilities that will create obstacles for you to overcome and plan accordingly.

Game is cheap, worth it's price, pick it up for sure!

They once again abandoned their game to "work on a new game", have fun making a Titanfall clone I guess. It's not Splitgate.

On top of it not being fun, controller sensitivity is too much, placing traps down feels harder than the classic games, combat was way too hard for only 2 players, and maps are too opened with very few options to block pathways...

Multiplayer is still live and kicking, worth picking up during a sale if you just wanna revisit the multiplayer or to play it for the first time! Controller Support Mod exists too, if you wanna play it on controller.

How the heck you even get anywhere in this game when you can literary get killed by your first encounter, and the resting system heals so awfully slow, that you're bound to die eventually anyways! I haven't even ran into a player, just all the npcs do too much damage!

Don't get the game right now until they fix the issues. No matter what your specs are on PC many have encountered massive stuttering problems including myself, game has memory leaks the longer you play, and without performance mods this was literary impossible for me to play later on in the game. I'm able to find the game enjoyable only thanks to nexusmods making it playable for me, if you have a Playstation 5, get the game on there instead since it was better optimized there, to save yourself possible headaches. Great game but bad port so far. I'll change my review once they fix it.
