Fun twist on Deep Rock Galactic. I like not having to customize as much between runs and just getting to customize during the run together. Less to worry about before jumping into the game.

Having to mostly pick a different upgrade as your friends makes sense - you don't want to all make the same build - and I often liked multiple of the choices - if there aren't enough interesting choices, that should be the focus rather than letting everyone pick the same thing.

The timer on day 2 here felt roughly right. Don't want your friends just making the game take forever.

Running out of ammo as much as we did did suck, though, so I hope they make that more rare. It seemed like ammo was always our priority, and we still couldn't keep up.

I liked DRG until there were a million meta progression things between games, and booting up the game felt like booting up a mobile game. I think the meta progression systems right now are about right. I don't want more complexity there - focus on the runs themselves.

Overall, I like what's here so far, and I recommend it if they fix the ammo issue - which I think they will.

I've not usually been into Chess, but having a great time with this. Feels like little puzzles with just a handful of pieces, so it's a lot more approachable. And enough twists (like hazard tiles and non-Chess pieces) that I don't feel too much like I've been bamboozled into just playing Chess. haha

I like that you just start with one piece each level and make more from there.

Best game in its genre of action FPS + blend in with bots. I prefer to keep these two genres separate ... if I'm playing a blend in game, I'd prefer the outcome of it to be based on that, not who has the better 360 no-scope split second reaction time during a FPS battle (something like West Hunt doesn't let the other team fight back at all - you just lose by getting it wrong enough).

But the amount of content and fun to be had here is amazing. Updates have been coming for years. Really amazing, and beats any similar game that I've tried in this combination of genres (like Deceive Inc).

Having a lot of fun with this so far. I like games like Hot Brass/Police Stories, and this one is a great entry into the genre! Played 4 player co-op without issue.

(I got a free copy, but I bought a copy for my friend so we could play together)

It's just not for me. I'm a huge fan of social deduction games like Resistance, Werewolf, Night of the Ninja, Two Rooms and a Boom, Blood on the Clocktower - and even digital social deduction games like Betrayal Beach or Among Us.

But what those games all have in common is that mostly if you are on the evil team, you mostly stay that way.

My friends and I, who all like those other games, played a good handful of games of Paper Pirates now, and it just feel way more party game than social deduction. We just can't get into trying to figure out who is evil (a ghost) since it feels like that's constantly changing.

Having a great time with this. I like that your inventory is infinite, and I don't even think you can see what you have except in the context of what you need. Well done!

Like the game, but I keep getting kicked by anti-cheat, even though I'm not cheating and tried reinstalling it in many ways, including some batch file on Github.

Short but very fun! We blasted through the levels in under 3 hours, but I'd happily go back and play them again on a harder difficulty, or go for full stars.

Love the faster 4X genre. You get a lot of game in a shorter timeframe in this one.

Impressed by how different the factions are, without being so different that you're essentially playing different games (like Root).

High player interaction, very fun!

This was the first game I played in the NPC blend in genre, and I still love it! I played this a ton on my Ouya console.

The graphics aren't much, but they don't need to be. The gameplay is excellent, it makes for a great party game. It really boils down some of the higher level ideas from Spy Party into a party game more players can enjoy. Other great entries in the genre are Unspottable and West Hunt.
