This game is for an extremely small niche of players. Myself included. Which if you fit into, this is one of the best games you'll ever play. Part management, city builder, tower defense, part FTL, it really feels unique, but familiar. The title tricks you into thinking its a simple, generic game. The first hero is boring, simple, with just a few workers. Once you begin expanding and unlocking the later parts of the map, the strategy goes to another level. Add in the elemental effects, economics, and unique heros with evolution paths. Its a fun game. I dont know how much I'll play this game but I expect over 100

It hits that Slay the Spire itch like no other game. Ive played dozens. If you have android, Rogue Adventure is close also. But this is so cool that it really keeps me coming back

Honestly incredibly disappointed. Genuinely had the makings of greatness and it was hampered by Capcoms need for infinite growth. I hate that this game suffered from a release date too early for itself. Should've been another year honestly. It's way, WAY too easy. Like Rise was significantly harder and that was easy as ♥♥♥♥. The story is not only ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, it FORCES you to watch it. So much awful dialogue and horrible writing put directly in front of you. Could not skip through enough. And on top of all of that, they had the audacity to tell us that they could not optimize this game more. Uhuh. Has destroyed my goodwill. Will not be buying next game until months after release and only on sale. If they address my main 3 issues (performance, difficulty, and lack of content) then I will change my review but as of now seems like thats not gonna happen. For reference I finished story and got to HR 30 but it's just so unfun I don't wanna keep going.

This is a game that may not take the most cerebral thought, but it has an incredible depth to it. Very fun Bullet Heaven.

Great game. Combat and RPG side was a bit shallow but overall a really awesome experience. One of the, if not THE, greatest cyberpunk worlds ever realized.

What a fun game. Its a shame this didnt take off, soundtrack goes off. Love it but feels like its laking that oomf. Still recommend.

Feels like a PS2 Classic

What a phenomenal game. Reminiscent of so many great classics like RoR, Spelunky, and of course if you're old; Motherload. A classic flash game that really began this genre of digging and upgrading your base. This game evolves the formula in every good way. From progression to unlocks as well as roguelike elements this game is truly special. Im probably gonna put in way too many hours as I already put 30 hours into the demo. Now that the full release is out, this has exceeded my already high expectations. This game kicks ass.

This is actually an incredibly well polished simple roguelite. I really enjoy this, it hits a really smooth flow easily. I recommend to anyone who enjoys games like Curse of the Dead Gods, Hades, Book of Demons etc you know those.

EDIT: 6/15/23 After the announce of 1.0 I came back for a reflection. This game feels straight out of an arcade cabinet from heaven. Its improved in virtually every aspect from weapon design, progression, and variety to an often overlooked feature, balance. This game has managed to keep ♥♥♥♥ OP and fun but also added ways to challenge that, and even expand in interesting ways with the addition of Weapon Modifications. I love the reworks to the hub world, economy, even the elemental effects have seen vast improvements. Overall one of my favorite games of all time and a top 5 repeater

Its the best Aztec/South American Mythology based game I've seen since the Populus series
