If you liked the first game, you'll love this. Sins 2 does what sequels are actually supposed to do: it takes the gameplay that you already loved from the first game and improves upon it. Specifically, Sins 2 has quite a few quality of life upgrades over it's predecessor. My personal favourites are the fleet supply tab where you can easily manage all your capital ship abilities and items, and the new fleet system where you can queue ships to automatically assign to and rendezvous with whatever fleet you want them to join.

So yeah, if you like the first game, if you like RTS in general, and if you want to support good devs who make good games, I highly recommend Sins 2!

I wasn't going to buy this game. That would have been a terrible mistake. This game is incredible. Grab your friends and dive into chaos. Watch bugs splatter and screech as your character laughs with glee, watch robots sputter and collapse as you set their heads on fire with a round to the head. Get absolutely atomized by your teammate's cluster bomb.

Get the Expanding Fronts mod off moddb and you're set. This game is an absolutely classic, and I wish it'd get a remaster.

Basically the Garry's Mod of VR. Most servers you find are running custom maps and gamemodes, and it is glorious.

EDIT 2: Changing my review again since the new Mercenary update sucks, but on top of that they just removed 180 cars. Not fully gone, but they're locked behind the GTA+ paywall which makes them innaccessible to anyone except folks with next-gen consoles.

Rockstar, come on man. How hard is it to understand that removing cars from your game called Grand Theft AUTO is probably not a good idea?

EDIT: So yeah that mod controversy thing was ages ago. It's over now, game is good. Microtransactions suck, but whatever.

If you car about GTA V singleplayer mods, then don't play GTA Online, at least until Take Two changes their mind.
