Give it 6-8 player support, bots for offline play, and maybe a bit more map backgrounds and this game would be PERFECT. It's still well worth the $10 if you got friends and has a lot of charm with it's art style, movement, music, and abilities. Kinda like a basic form of Smash with a bunch of abilities you get to pick to equip.

It's honestly a great $1 spent, I have the hours to tell. I've gotten my money's worth but I must say my biggest critique is that the achievement "The chosen people" is quite literally more rare than winning the lottery. In order to get 345 points in one match, you would have to get 9 yachts, a perfect full house, and a small/large straight all in one perfect match. There is a reason the achievement is at 0%, because it's basically impossible.

I want to leave this at a positive review because it was so cheap and plenty of fun, but I would like the developer to address this achievement simply because that $1 essentially pushes my avg game completion down for no good reason and let's be honest, whether you care about achievements or not, an impossible achievement is silly. They seemed aware of it from another review but for some reason haven't addressed it. The other achievements are totally fine and fair. Worth the $1 if you don't care about achievements, lots of fun with up to 3 friends while chatting and is super simple.

Pretty fun game especially for it's time and it can take a lot of patience/coordination in stealth missions, but the massive amount of DLC and now this new subscription service since Payday 3 failed? Yeah, I'll go out of my way to give a negative review for that one. Nice work!

Also 1300+ achievements is crazy unfair to people who like to 100% stuff, obviously used as a way to retain player count.

They delisted and essentially disabled every aspect of the game and shut down servers which were artificially required to play. Deleted all your progress. This is a great way to tell your existing customers not to purchase future games as those will likely be shut down in a few years after launch as well. 2K is by far one of the worst publishers next to Ubisoft.

Stop killing games.

Recommend to beat BL1/2/TPS first, this is like a love letter movie essentially for Borderlands fans. Tons of comedy, good story, awesome references and VA, etc. Absolute cinema.

A single course for 60% the price of the entire game (which goes on sale for $4.99 often).

For 14 years, Sega sold its classics on Steam, and in 2016, it expanded upon them by creating an all-in-one bundle featuring a cozy UI along with new titles. This has always been a legal way to purchase old Sega games on Steam and actually have the direct game ROMs included in the files for archival or emulation reasons. You own everything, and very few game devs have done this.

The delisting of certain titles (announced for 12/06/24), is a significant blow—especially when many of these games don't even have remakes out. Now, people will purchase these older games out of FOMO, and new buyers will never be able to 100% the bundle without the removed og titles. They already removed Sonic 1-3 a few years ago due to having the Sonic Origins "remakes".
