I was looking after some Linux native games at my library and was surprised to learn I overlooked such master piece before.

Trine is a great platformer with puzzle elements. The character changing mechanics reminds the one from Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, which was a great game by the way.

Um épico da velha guarda. Joguei no meu antigo Windows e joguei de novo no Linux através do Proton. Funcionou perfeitamente!

Em relação ao jogo, é excelente e possui uma ótima história. Ele é peca apenas por ser extremamente linear em relação ao primeiro. Não possui muitos segredos para se descobrir por aí. Você encontra o que precisa e segue adiante, sem nenhum extra pra se encontrar.

This is a classic of fighting games. It's a shame I never played it on my childhood, but even meeting this game later was worth my time.

The game itself is good, the graphics are nice and the soundtrack is great too. However I could not play it because of a mouse cursor bug that seemingly doesn't happened with anyone else.

When I try to hover on an option (doesn't matter if it's in the dialog, or status icons, etc) the game don't recognize it in the right coordinates. I had to roll the cursor around until I could find the right spot and It was really annoying.

Another point that is purely a personal aesthetic preference of mine is the body shape of male characters. I'm skinny myself (kinda like Cloud Strife for instance), so, when I create an avatar in online games, I tend to make one that resembles me. But all the male character bodies where the robust bodybuilder shoulder oversized types. It really breaks immersion for me in these cases as I can't see myself there.

If the cursor bug gets fixed in the future, I probably will change my review to positive, because the game really looks worth playing.

It's rare to see good proprietary game editors like the RPG Maker series being released to Linux. And even more rare an editor that actually works fine on Linux! RMMV happily works great on my machine and allow me to work on my projects withouth any hassle.

RPG Maker is the best when it comes to develop a simple 2D RPG and I always recomend it since I used the old RPG Maker 2000 (or simply RM2k for old community users) years ago.

For those who like the genre, it's a great game with a good narrative and gameplay.

My only complaint is the flaw in the tutorial. When playing with the gamepad, the LB button didn't worked as it should when requested to change signs, besides that, everything worked great!

The port made for Linux is great and works flawlessly.
I just had to change to the lattest proprietary drivers and voilà.
