This game caught me off guard. The beginning was slow, but it quickly picked up. I have to play it in parts due to the strain it puts on me. It's been nearly six and a half hours, and I believe I'm approximately two-thirds of the way through. From my perspective, this game is more of an experience; for others, this may be a problem, but I'm really enjoying it so far.

I wasn't sure about the combat, but it quickly grew on me. It works incredibly well for this narrative story-based game; it makes you feel like you're a part of the experience, as if I'm the main character. It feels hefty and personal.

This game deviates from many conventional norms, and individuals aren't always prepared for or comfortable with change, but I recommend it. Though it may not be for everyone, if you have an open mind and embrace the game for what it is attempting to do, you will have a great time.

One of the best games I've played in some time, with so many side quests that they could legit be their own game. For a game such as this, the gun play is amazing; I did not expect such fun gun play. I genuinely think that a million people could play this game and walk away with a million different outcomes and experiences. Gaming is alive, folks.

I would say if you are mainly used to linear games, this might not be the game for you; it does not exactly hold your hand all the way. 

In this game, you can think of yourself existing in a universe, and you get to dictate your every step. Just do what you want! Be who you want. I'll be playing this for the next few years.

Overall this is by far 343's best halo game, and the halo game that has the best gameplay in my opinion, i enjoy the campaign, i'm so-so for the open world, I feel it could have been done better.

I love the MP, i like rank mostly, i don't feel rewarded for playing non rank modes.

I feel that it's a miss opportunity for them to not have some kind of firefight mode or something similar seeing that the game feels so good to play.

I do not think they should have went the route of a live service though, if they didn't have a plan to execute.

Initially I had given this game a negative review due to the crazy changes that were made which wasn’t for the better of the game, I speak for myself and the larger part of the community.

However, after certain realizations, the developers have decided to make amends for the errors, and change the game for the better, the game is now more like what it uses to be when it was great back in 2016 etc.

I recommend the game base on its current build, it’s a very fund game, heck, the only game that led me to write my first game review after years of being a gamer, and this was solely due to the fact that I truly loved this new spin and how this game delivered in called the culling!
