Vampire slapping simulator.

Like everyone else is saying, it’s a clear homage and mashup of Diablo 2 (inventory/loot), Vampires Survivors (wave survival), and Hades (patron boon skills, dash/targeting combat, synergies) with the replay value of each.

TBF, while it does a remarkably good job combining the elements of each, there’s nothing new, or novel in here mechanics-wise. If you like the DNA, you’ll like the mutant child.

Plus, it is still early access, and devs seem pretty active with releases. Can see a lot of potential to mix in more elements from the root games in interesting ways and hope they do try out some unique ideas.

It runs great on the Steam Deck, comfortably scratches 3 itches at once, and well worth the price point for the number of hours played so far.

Now, back to smacking the Baron around some more…

It's a bold choice for a (non)game to delete the save file midway through as a story mechanic... Two thumbs up, would not (not) play again.
