otherwise i love this game

good to piss and ♥♥♥♥ yourself for multiple reasons i don't need to list

terrible game, i played 3 000 hours of it and they were the worst of my life

this game makes you FEEL like gordon ramsay

this game pretty much hit the spot as to what i wanted in a game which was procedural physics based destructible levels with the freedom of doing what you want, with a really good community and developers close-knit with their community

...except now saber interactive enshittified the game and
1. flooded the well-cultivated (modding) community with dumbass 14 year-old console gamers by putting the game up on ps5 and xbox and making level-making overly accessible, also flooding the workshop with garbage maps, causing pretty much everyone at the time--to straight up leave.
2. tanked up the price from 20 to 30 dollars because they know said 14 year-olds do not care.
3. added "season passes" not shy of also 50 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dollars (i.e. teardown deluxe edition).
4. to appeal to 14 year-old console gamers, they also turned the game into fortnite with the character selection and 3rd person and animations very similar to fortnite, if not literally that.
5. ruined the UI by making it incredibly massive for pc users to make it readable for console players which could have been avoided if they just made a separate console version of the game, which they didn't, because they don't give a ♥♥♥♥.
6. made the game completely broken from them ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the game up inside and out to put compatibility for console, because who cares about the quality, we're gonna make SOOOOO much MONIEESSSSS, and then leaving the actual game devs to scrape all the ♥♥♥♥ off (though it feels like they got lobotomized considering even after saber interactive got destroyed by it's parent company and was sent to embracer group (saber's parent company at the time), they still persisted with the game's enshittification.)

it's also apparently something saber does alot, if you look at their libraries of games, nearly ALL of them have mixed reviews for the EXACT same reasons, that being "buggy game with so many DLCs"

teardown was a passion project fiddled and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ into a money cow with no actual creative direction, thanks, fuxedo labs!!!
