This little clerical error aside, the game is great. I haven't finished it yet but I really like what I've played so far. There's so many great little features that the devs absolutely did not have to include, but they did, and the game is that much better for it. I can't go too far in without gameplay spoilers, but it has an insane amount of ways to make the game play and feel so many different ways. Even if you just do a normal caveman greatsword build, there's still a whole lot of substance here. Thankfully the devs also remembered to add the Moonlight Greatsword. There's also an in-game manual made specifically to look like old paper manuals that used to come with your game discs back when that was a thing. Wonderful little RPG, highly recommend.

perhaps one of the most influential PC games ever released. not a single complaint. absolute masterpiece from start to finish. i wish it had DLC like eternal does.

gameplay and graphics are pretty much identical to MW2 (I.E. pretty good, holds up pretty well even in 2026). the story is a wonderful conclusion to the trilogy and i have absolutely zero bad things to say about this game. go play it if you somehow havent already.

golden. i never got to experience the days where this game was at its peak (i was born in the same year it released for perspective), and i dont think ive ever tried the PvP. sadly, i dont think i'll ever get to. the campaign is absolutely incredible though. everything still holds up shockingly well. i honestly prefer this one to the remaster.

great way to spend half an hour or so. they absolutely atmosphere and tone and the exploration is great if that's your thing. highly recommend.

Campaign is great, guns feel awesome, 100% completion grind is fun so far, but MP and spec ops arent great. The menus feel like scrolling through hulu and the weapon selections for some of the missions make absolutely no sense. My only options for the Pitch Black mission are loud and unsupressed shotguns and assault rifles? what? why do I need to play through the game for hours in this confusing way just to unlock gun customization?

Overall, the game is definitely worth it on sale if you're a singleplayer/achievement grinder type of guy. If you're here for the co-op or PvP, I would go look elsewhere though. There are plenty of great options for under $10 if you just do some quick browsing on the Steam store.
