I hate the level design in this game so much :D

Absolutely addicting and surprisingly sociable game. I do recommend this game for anyone interested in the social aspect of the game as lobbies often turn into glorified chats but that's not to dismiss the amazing gameplay and artstyle that Atlyss provides, a fun experience for anyone who wants a quick dungeon run.

Game has been pretty stale and boring to me since the nerf of a lot of operators recently and the entire destruction of Frost mains since the complete change of her abilities. Since this change Frost went from one of the most fun and satisfying characters to play to one of the most frustrating and boring characters, being better off not even using her ability. From what i've seen happening , this might happen to other characters sooner or later.

SO. No point of playing more of this game if the game in question doesn't have fun characters to play in the first place.

The game itself is quite amazing , I do like the details , gameplay , atmosphere , artstyle , mechanics and so on as so forth. However , all of these things are nullified by the horrid optimization the game suffers from and the ridiculous loading screen waiting.

One loading screen takes around 20 minutes.

There is one loading screen at the beginning of loading up the game and there is ANOTHER loading screen when choosing your character. There is also ANOTHER loading screen when picking a mission. So in total. 1 hour has passed of me doing absolutely nothing. And this is not even the worst part.

Randomly losing connection is a very common encounter. Whenever you lose connection , guess what happens?
You go back into a loading screen. Another 20 minutes out the window.

So yea , sorry , but unless the game developers fix these critical issues , I won't be able to enjoy this game ever. It's a shame.

All of this because of 1 bag of milk.

So, just as table card games have been refreshed by adding new takes on it with fantasy worlds , characters and new mechanics on them such as yugioh or heartstone being the top 2 that come in mind at the moment... i feel like Hide and Seek has been refreshed the same way by Dead by Daylight.

The replay value in this game is ridiculously big and you will most likely spend lots of time in it thanks to all the interesting combos you can do with perks and different characters. Playing both sides is enjoyable for their own reasons. Seeker ( Killer ) gets the enjoyement of spookin' the Hiders ( Survivors ) and Survivors get the thrill of escaping the danger just like an actual horror game.

HOWEVER. The enjoyement tends to diminish once you reach high ranks ( Purple-Red ranks ) and you don't use "Meta" Perks which in my opinion can get stale after a while. My suggestion is once you feel like it's too difficult for you , just wait 1-2 months for your rank to decrease and pick it up again.

Overall? 4/5 from me , they did a pretty good job so far :)

Short , Sweet and overall an amazing experience. The artwork and puzzles combined with the story really keep you hooked. Would recommend you taking 1 hour of your free time to experience this game. You will not regret it!

Lovely artwork , characters and fighting. Playing with friends makes the experience of this game even better.

The Retro feeling when playing this game just dosen't let me stop coming back to 1.6
